They definately need some food, I'd try it out, at a low dose. They still look a bit overwatered. Allow them to dry out more. Next time, try allowing them to dry until they just begin to droop. That way you'll have a better idea of when you need to water - you'll want to do so right before they start getting droopy.
As far as the lower leaves go, if you damage the plant, there really isn't any fixing it. If a leaf is damaged past a certain point, it will die, even if you correct the problem. The new growth will tell you wether or no you're doing better.
