So may i ask, if its only being applied once every three years if the toxicity is still a problem in that time what would you suggest as a remedy?
Well, I had to google the whole issue since I was not aware of it.
The upshot is, I'm not going to do anything different or discontinue the occasional use.
From my reading of both sides of the issue it seems to be a non issue AFA toxicity due to the form of the arsenic and lead, both being in a very stable ore state.
But besides the back and forth, the most telling for me is, in the 60 or so years it's been on the market there has never been a lawsuit brought about the arsenic or lead levels in Ironite. Not a single one. If there had been the slighest issue, someone would have brought suit long ago.
Use it or not as you see fit, that's your call. For myself, it's not a concern.
