Hey, thanks for all the input guys. I have just been planning one day ahead of a res change, filling a new set of buckets and waiting a day to pH and nute. It's not like it's that much of a hassle, but as a newb, I get impatient.

So, this is day 13 (about Week 2) since I dunked my seeds. In light of the bright green indications pointed out by you helpful folks, I prepped new reservoirs for all plants by adding .5mL of Micro, Bloom and Grow from GH (I generally use their website calculator, which indicates seedlings should have 1.5mL per gal (I use 3 gal of water) - I don't usually nute my sprouts at this age, and I don't consider them to be seedlings yet. The nutrient balance I used was nearly negligible and didn't even register on my truncheon (minimum read is at 140ppm or .2 EC at 700x). I'm not sure this will supplement the water enough at this stage, but I'd rather take it slow - I've already fucked up enough grows, I'm ready to pull something good out of this setup. Slow and steady wins the war...hopefully.

Time had come to face the beast, the Medusa of an air system I have setup inside this tent. I was smart this time though (and I say this time, because it definitely took learning from my mistakes to figure it out), and I measured twice before I cut, so to speak. I made sure that all of my airlines were at workable lengths - very important in small spaces to ensure that you have enough flexibility to get these damn buckets swapped out. Okay, some pics. Peace.

I also switched out my shitty 8" oscillators and purchased a tower fan with speed control. I like the nice even blade of breeze it provides at opposed to the focussed twirl of the round fans.

Okay, sorry all - day 15 & 16 pics:

IMG_1397.jpgIMG_1394.jpgIMG_1398.jpgIMG_1395.jpgIMG_1396.jpgIMG_1393.jpg

I have pH'd the reservoirs only slightly from mid 6 to upper 5, and I walked the nutrients up to a total of 2mL each (Micro, Bloom, Grow), in each reservoir (still under the recommendation for seedlings, which would be 4.5mL each nutrient per reservoir). I'm still seeing leaves that don't look absolutely happy, though they also don't seem to be that bad off - so, should I up all nutes to recommended doses for seedlings at this point, or should I wait a while before going full bore into the nutrients? All helpful feedback welcome. - Peace.

The smallest plant (easily spottable in the lower right) was germinated a good four days later than the others (I had a dud in the first four attempted). So, a few things of note, and a few pics for kicks:1.) A quick refresh on basic equipment: 4'x4'x6.5' Secret Jardin DRII Pro 120; Speed controlled 6" HO CanFan and rate matched CanFilter (only hooked up during flower - the filter, not the fan) which exchanges around 250cfm with all ducting, etc...; 400w MH/HPS on a switchable digital ballast in a 6" CoolTube with diamond alloy reflector (sounds fancier than it is); a new speed controlled oscillating tower fan; and uh...the ducting from my gear to the outside is done with insulated ducting for sound muffling as well as ambient heat control. Speaking of which, I'm running an automated portable heater that regulates the temps between high 60s/low 80s when it's tripped. 4 independent 5 gallon buckets (DWC) with GH Hydrofarm halo irrigation rings on a timer (now set at 15 mins every 3 hrs); plenty of air stones in each bucket, with 3 independent airlines in each bucket (2 for stones, 1 for halo) - sorry, I don't know the specs on my air pumps off hand, but they're plenty enough each on their own, let alone combined. I'm using GH three part Flora Series with no additives and no beneficials or subcultures. I exchange reservoirs once every 7 days or less. I am running half what the GH Website Nutrient Calculator's recommendations are for "seedlings." I dare say, my plants are just about reaching a fair size to consider seedlings, so this next change I will go full recommended nutes (maybe not on the lil' one - we'll play it by ear).

2.) Big shout to Kevin Murphy for setting me straight on common sense ('eff those humidifiers!); I'm finally understanding why good growers say not to over complicate this shit (not that I'm taking the advice all the way yet, but I'm learning) - Humidity issues alleviated with a simple bowl of water and a few balls (5% difference in same all over conditions - proof in the pudding). Thanks, Holmes!

Okay, let's take a peek at these plants, and remember: All I really want is girls!

Quick note - prepped 3 reservoirs at 420ppm (.6 @ 700x for you EC fans); prepped the 4th res at 280ppm (.4 EC) for the little tyke. Placed 4.5mL each of GH Micro, Bloom, Grow in 3gal water (little one got 3mL each nute in 3 gal water). Will post visuals in a day or two - I'll try to use my nice camera. Peace.

Thanks for popping in, greengurl. I am very stoked to be growing in this tent; more than enough space and convenience. As for the carpet, it survived, but what an awful harbinger of icky x factors that carpet can introduce to a grow. I know there are some handy folks out there with the time and know-how to DIY an entire room, but I'm not handy at all and I don't mind paying extra for convenience. Peace.

All the rep belongs to you, KM! I'll never again use anything else. You know, I very much do like RIU, but it is rare when advice is friendly, helpful, AND practical. I'm glad to have you taking a peek, and happier still for the advice. Peace.

Okay, cats and kittens, time to get down to mice and pigeons.

Res change today - a bit early (by a couple days), but they looked hungry and their pH was wonked (from one newb to any others out there - don't get pH lazy!!!). The big girls (fingers crossed) get 15mL Micro each, 7.5 mL Grow and Bloom each, which equates to 1.0EC (or 700ppm at 700x (of course)). The little girl gets what the big ones got last time: 4.5 mL of Micro, Grow, and Bloom, which puts out around 420ppm (bongsmilie), my favorite reading for obvious reasons.

Kevin Murphy's Common Sense humidifier is still doing the job, and my temps are perfect. All roots look good, but back left corner looking a tad pH stressed, and the back right corner is just slower for some reason than her femmed sis in the left front. The right front (little tyke) is obviously little, but I feel she's also experiencing some stunted growth for one reason or another - I feel ya C.Indica! Okay, so now a few pictures.

My girl got me a new pH meter this Christmas (I love that girl!). I've been pH'ing by color, don't gasp, it's actually been fairly easy to deal with, but it is nice to put some digits with those varying shades of lemon-lime.

I found the girls to be about .5 or .6 higher than I'd like, so adjusted. They seem to be fairly happy. I believe my next move is to investigate this "Heisenberg's" tea. I hear nothing but great things. Peace, and Happy Holidays.
