So what do we do now with the "refugees"?

That's a logical argument. What some may argue is illogical, is flying them across the planet and turning them loose within our borders. Shouldn't the "camps" be set up in neighboring countries so these "refugees" can IMMEDIATELY return home as soon as the war has concluded? It's not like they're going to be given permanent residency...or are they?

If I wanted the Muslim vote this election year, I would not necessarily do what is in their best interest, I would do what would get them to vote Democrat. The US has a large Muslim faith.

My comment about Kenya as the country where he was born...
obama was born in hawaii, you racist idiot.

I am an old man.
an old racist loser?

color me surprised!

Gays have fought so hard for their recent victories. I don't want to see them go back to being stoned to death. Make me a racist? Women have fought so hard for their freedoms. I don't want to see them getting raped for being pretty. Make me a racist?
are you honestly worried about sharia law taking over?

what an idiot you are.

Thank you for being the voice of "us all". So sorry that you cannot wrap your head around the difference between an ideology (Islam, Christianity, etc.) and a race. As a Christian I try to live and let live, see the good in others, treat others as I would like to be treated. You may not be aware that Muslims are not interested in debating with atheists. Atheists must covert to Islam or be killed, just like all non Muslims. I don't hate anyone. Racist? I voted for Obama. From the time I was a young boy I wanted to be part of the world where we could have a black president and truly put racism in our past. Didn't pan out like I had envisioned. I shouLd have done more research on his religious beliefs, etc.
My comment about Kenya as the country where he was born...non racist point was that potus are required to be natural born u.s. Citizens. If it wasn't Kenya, but Canada where he was born would I be less of a racist to point it out?
In fairness, since posting about seeing a video of Obama admitting born in Kenya, I have received enough posts claiming those videos are fake, dubbed voice overs that I am no longer as convinced as to the tapes. Thank you to the people that responded with helpful information on that matter.
I am an old man. I have already enjoyed a life with The freedoms offered by our society.
I live way out in the boonies...we are going to be okay. My concern is more for my fellow U.S. citizens. Gays have fought so hard for their recent victories. I don't want to see them go back to being stoned to death. Make me a racist? Women have fought so hard for their freedoms. I don't want to see them getting raped for being pretty. Make me a racist? The only group in America likely to benefit from sharia law would be pedophiles and rapists. I just don't like either group so call me another name if it makes you feel big.
For representing all of the name call bunch, I thank you for the warm welcome.
You do understand that when you make a comment like that many folks are just going to make the conclusion that indeed you are a bigot. The fact that Obama released his birth certificate must have never reached you out in the boonies.
Even to think that the DOJ (FBI) did not do an in dept vetting of a potentual POTUS is outlandish.

Donald Trump sent a crack investigative team to Hawaii (REAL birthplace of Obama) to try and find evidence that Obama was a Manchurian candidate from Kenya, we're still waiting for the "great" information that hIs team found. Guess that team spent most of their time smoking crack and hanging out at the beach.

Did you notice NOBODY defended your comment? It's all BS about potus being born in kenya.

Thanks blunted. For the record, after I was told the Kenya video was a hoax, I retracted my statement. I seek only the truth and to speak the truth. Show me anyone else in this group that has the balls to admit an error. It's you that did not notice I did receive support.
I also thanked the people who sent me the info on Kenya. And yes, in hindsight I do see how my statement could have people jump to conclusions. My statement was poorly expressed and turned out to be wrong. That makes me mistaken, not racist.

Hey, you're a. Really cool guy to strip words from my post and then mock them with more name calling. Class act.

Are you honestly not worried about sharia taking over? What a carefree fellow you must be not to be concerned with what is going on in the world around you..
I didn't mean to take a swipe at pedophiles and rapists. That really seemed to upset you. Did I strike a nerve?

I didn't see where you made a correction to your blanket statement about POTUS being born in Kenya, if you did then of course you have my apologies, I too am too old for for getting into frivolous arguments I was directing my response to 1 particular statement that is all, I'm not concerned about any other comment you made. If others enlightened you, great! As they say Nothing worst than an old fool. Again my apologies.

BTW I never said you were a racist I only said how your comment can be construed as a bigoted comment.

apparently you missed that whole first amendment thing. no establishment of religion.

not even the 77% christian majority can really get their religion legislated into law, so why are you worried about the 0.7% muslim minority, a slim minority of which even support sharia law?

are you really that fucking stupid?

meh, dumb question. racists are that fucking stupid.

Muslims take on the religion of their father, and Christians take on the religion of their mother. Lets hear your defense, bitchboy.

e2a: blunts are Americas way of mixing weed and tobacco. Take that shit to socialist Europe. Fake ass gangster wannabe. Pure bong rips are how real men smoke.
Your first sentence is utterly and completely wrong. Christians take on the faith of their father. You're thinking of Judaism where it's traditionally passed down matrilineally. Although, sometimes Jewish people will take on the faith of their father as well, and sometimes Muslims will take on the faith of their mother - a Muslim - and sometimes Christians will take on the faith of their mother. Really, ASCIIGHOST, you prove time and time again you really don't know that much. Go back to the corner.

Your second sentence has no bearing whatsoever on political matters or anything in this thread, once again, you lost. Sounded like you got really angry there and blew a gasket though haha.

so you think the klan vote has the majority? so you are calling the voting majority racist. got it. men like you lacking testosterone is how i learned not to fear different shades. your mindset is dominated by estrogen. Estrogen has defeated you.

Seriously? If I thought that the klan (or as you call them, "friends") had the majority, I may actually be worried, dumbass.

It's a logical argument to have them stay in the country they're fleeing? If that's what you're getting at we're not even going to discuss this any further because you obviously have no idea what you're talking about, and don't even want to get clued in. If you're talking about them fleeing to neighboring countries they have been. Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan have been taking the brunt of the refugees seeing as how there are about 7 million IDPs in Syria and 4 million refugees with the majority going to the aforementioned countries. Moreover, how do you really expect someone to just go home after a war when the village/district/city/neighborhood that they lived in has been reduced to a pile of rubble? Refugees are not given permanent residency, but they sure can apply for it.
