Smoking While Preggers

What ever happened to our truth spreading friend? Last time I saw he told ya to go educate yourself and that was the last I heard from him...
If you were talking about me, I'm right here. Just laughing at all the people who believe some of the nonsense that is thrown our way. Our government would never lie to us. They always tell us the truth. And if they say fluoride is good in the water and mercury is good in the vaccines, then it must be, right?

Sure I mentioned a video that is on youtube, however I found out about that vid in a men's health magazine that was talking about the ill effects that mercury fillings have on the body. They mentioned that video which was made by a dentist.

And I'm sure the reason you don't believe me on the fluoride in the water is because you've been drinking water with fluoride in it for years which has caused you to become docile, unquestioning, and have a lower intelligence level.

LMFAO! So, anyone who disagrees with you, even if they can find good science/research that says otherwise, is having their mind manipulated.

Is anyone else reading the full text of fdd's link to Ganja Moms? It's really QUITE fascinating, especially in how the study was done, incorporating far more than mere data. A very rounded work-up, if you ask me (yeah I know you didn't).

What about the good scientific research that says that I'm right? What about that? No one seems to care about that part of it, only that their dentist said fluoride is good for their teeth. Here are some links so you don't have to do the search yourself.

High fluoride in drinking water is associated with poor performance on intelligence tests.

This seems like it would be enough to show you the light. But I'm sure you guys will disagree with this too.

I love seeing the normally calm and collected members of RIU getting in a heated discussion and posting links of DATA and STUDIES! Shit, I don't know what's wrong with the world today!

Frankly, I think its the over coddling, worrying, and trying to sterilize every environment and vaccinate everything that is going to be a big factor in why the human race dies out.Every generation becomes weaker, and dumber.Toughen those little suckers up!

Hmmm... that's all very interesting except I wasn't talking about you, heh... I was talking about We Tarded... oh, and I only drink well water :hump:

Oh, wait a minute, you're going to now say that there is good scientific research that says that the reason behind fluoridation is to control peoples' minds??? Nevermind that you and others are asserting that this is the sole purpose of fluoridation, and are implying with those assertions that the mind control tactics are working (why do people never give propaganda a chance? It works GREAT!).

First report.. Oh! a little biased are we? Sounds more like an op-ed piece than an actual article, but hey. Starts off with this from the first link and tell me this isn't someone with an agenda...
- The establishment media will have to find a new tactic with which to ridicule those who oppose the fluoridation of water
Ok, fine, further reading into the article gives some links and citation of research. And what do they talk about? All articles and research papers are focusing on high concentrations of fluoride. Hmm... Lettuce continue.

Fluoride Action Network.. no agenda there, eh? Ok.. so, I've read the links, and the links presented within the links, and they ALL qualify their information with the phrase "high concentrations/levels of fluoride". Not a single one says ANYTHING about mind control, or utilization of fluoride to control the masses. Not even the article cited from SciAm gives anything resembling that impression. High quantities of fluoride appear to have statistically deleterious effects. As a matter of fact, I can find only one report that even suggests that low levels of fluoride have ANY deleterious effect. How does one move from "high fluoride MAY be dangerous or bad" to "ALL or ANY levels of fluoride are dangerous/bad"?

So, what do you propose we do with all those water sources that are naturally high in fluoride? And what's really amusing is how many people are going to say, "Oh, well I drink BOTTLED water because tap water is so nasty", not even realizing that bottled water is even less regulated than tap water, and that it can be far worse (and not for the packaging, either) for a person for that deficit.

Here's my thing, hit me with data, fully rounded data. Don't make an experiment that's designed to prove your ideas right, make an experiment simply to see what happens, THEN draw your conclusions. Don't add editorial-type opinions into it, that makes the author look like, you guessed it, someone with an agenda and when people have an agenda, they tend to gravitate towards anything that supports that. Add to that the idea that the purpose of municipalities' fluoridation programs are to control the minds of their constituents sends the whole thing right off the deep end for me. :)

According to SocataSmoker there are indeed studies proving that weed is harmful.
 The study I posted said nothing about weed being harmful... that is why I'm majoring in botany though, I will be on the forefront of this legalization effort proving it's not harmful.

i dont go for the mind control part; but i can find you links to reports that say that flouride has no benefit aside from topical application (such as tooth brushing) there is no health reason to injest it... look at the statistics of dental disease in areas with floridation as compared to without... no difference.

That's why I did the searching the way I did. Fluoride water safety research. What I found is that there is a statistical benefit to utilizing low levels of fluoride, usually with specific regard to caries.

The Effects Of Marijuana On The Fetus

You talking about that report? You do realize that website is a pro-legalization website?

Recreational Drugs Information Home Page
I don't know how many pages back it was, but you posted a link regarding cannabis on the fetus, and one of the very first paragraphs stated that even when administered concentrated doses (I can't remember the exact wording) there was no chromosomal damage. Neither of these links is what I read that you'd previously put up.
