Smoking While Preggers

well that's admirable of you, Most men would wussy off and smoke behind her back. When pregnant, a woman can never have too much moral support. Especially when those hormones kick in.

well if you want your child as healthy as possible i suggest you do your own research and dont take the "doctors" word....

to all the naysayers, i say to start looking into (forced) immunizations, flouridated water, and all of the side effects of "modern medicine"... after you have delved into that for awhile, your opinions on what the "doctors" say will probably change...
Yep good ol' mercury in the vaccines, gotta love it. Check out youtube and search for smoking teeth. That video about mercury will freak you out, epsecially if you have a filling in your mouth!

And the fluoride in the water, oh the fluoride. Nazi Germany did this to create a docile, conforming state. They don't want all the water to have fluoride because its good for you, its because they don't want you to question anything they say.

Plus, its been shown that children who drink water with fluoride actually have a lower intelligence levels than children who drink good, clean, pure well water. Just do a search for fluoride and intelligence and you will see for yourself.

Only in America! Don't smoke pot, but lets make our children stupid with super stong teeth.

Flouride? Really? Do some research before I smack the tinfoil hat off your head. How many dentists drink flouridated water?

It is good to rinse your teeth with, not to ingest it. It weakens bones when ingested, but when you get a fluoride rinse, that is a totally different story.
Did you even bother to do a little search for fluoride and intelligence? All you have to do is type in "fluoride and intelligence", just like that, and you will find a bunch of stuff about it. Maybe it is because you spelled fluoride, "flouride", that you couldn't find anything. Learn how to spell, do a little research, then you can take the dunce cap off your head.

You guys, come on. There are LOTS of substances that, if ingested in large quantities, will kill you, yet if ingested in small enough quantities are good for you. That's not logical to extrapolate one from the other. Also, do your own Googling. Googling on "fluoride water safety research" gives me decidedly different results. ;)
This, from the CDC...
National Research Council (NRC) Report - Safety - Community Water Fluoridation - Oral Health
Some water has naturally occurring fluoride at levels much higher than the optimal. A recent report, Fluoride in Drinking Water: A Scientific Review of EPA’s Standards from the National Research Council (NRC), released on March 22, 2006, addresses safe maximum fluoride levels. The report addresses the safety of high levels of fluoride in water that occur naturally, and does not question the use of lower levels of fluoride to prevent tooth decay.
And, how about going BEYOND plain old Google, to that Google which the academics and researchers use, eh?
Google Scholar--fluoride water safety research.

What Is Fluoride?
Fluoride exists naturally in water sources and is derived from fluorine, the thirteenth most common element in the Earth's crust.
Dissemination of BAD information is the bane of the information age. YouTube may be the harbinger of doom.

Yeah and that is also scary when you have little kids and you are trying to teach them to brush.

They want to swallow it, they are used to swallowing anything you put in their mouth. Even using that teeny tiny pea sized amount scared me, I was afraid they'd swallow just a bit here and there and it would build up in their system.

I know you're not, but there are a LOT of others who are saying a hell of a lot more than just that, and more than a few seem to point to YouTube as their source of "information". :)
