Been busy...
Yeah, I always do a SOG from clone, like overfiend, I veg for a few weeks before flowering.
I want an even canopy so I can utilize as much light as possible.
Indica dominant strains are better, because the stretch and long flowering times of sativas stretch out and take a lot of space.
- This definately turned into a grow journal, but it's all good.

That room was 12 x 12 with 4 x 600W HPS... That was a little more than a year ago.
My latest grow/journal has 6 x 600W. And is a bit larger.

The entire energy bill w/ electric heat, water heater, stove etc. no gas in the house was $200.00 a month, every month... that was a 4 bed 2 bath 2 story house w/ basement. And I always had other shit running up the bill, tv, stereo... lights... etc.
It really doesn't run up the bill too high at all, each 600W digital ballast runs 5.5 amps, so the total damage is 33 amps 12 hours a day. If you have a portable heater, use a toaster, microwave, hair dryer, etc... read the amperage on those. Another thing is I have a 20 amp compressor, and tons of power tools and air tools, a welder etc.. but I don't use them very often. They could easily be responsibe for a whole lot more amperage than my ballasts.

Yeah, that was the fat girl I meant. They need love too dude. Sounds like you have SOG down to a science. Is their an Indica dominant you prefer for SOG growing? It is like a mini grow journal. My offline one is LONG, and detailed. It really helps me remember shit. With all these different bagseeds, and trimming, supercropping; I'm likely to forget which ones I did it too.
I can't wait to have that kind of space. 6 lamps, what's you lumen output? Crazy high no doubt. Would 6-600's cover more than 12x12 sufficiently? Dude, I'd be a kid in a candy store with those lamps. I'd up your rep if I knew how! If I had a rainforest in my basement, I think I'd become Tarzan and never leave! Build a tree fort.
I noticed some of my girls leaning a little from the weight. So, I sured them up with some cheap cord. Most are tied to main ropes via sewing thread. Here's some more bud shots of my oldest. Grow babies grow!

The girls look great man! Filling in, and getting some good resin production. Not bad for bag seed at all.
When I had my 1000w running, I didn't notice more then a 5-7 dollar a month increase in my bill. We'll see what happens this time, I'll have the 1000w and an 8 light cfl system I built going.

Took the two oldest out to snap some clos-ups under different light. They look so different under incandesant light. HPS's are so in the red it almost cancels out the other colors or something.
I'll post the second plants pics in the next post.
Any guesses on how long they need?

ok wtf i have a plant that for the first week went 24 hrs of light and after that i switched to 12/12 and since than its been three weeks of 12/12 and it still hasnt show sex wtf is up with that???? anyone help me out herer??

SOme of my girls took a full month to sex. Most were around 17-21 days though. I would suggest looking for light leaks if you haven't already. Give em' time though. I have one plant that grew 18 inches before it showed sex. So it depends on strain I think. If no light leaks I'd say just be patient. Good luck, stay safe!

I thought # 2 would be ready say next week too. But I checked the trichs and most are still 100% clear. There are some cloudy ones but not too many. Plant one has almost no cloudy trichs.
They are all bagseed. But from very choice sacks. I'd quess plant #2 is some short of short indica. Maybe skunk. Who knows. Sure smells dank though. I like to have her smokable by Dec, 4th. When whould I harvest her? I'd chop her now with so many red hairs, but I don't wanna just go by that. I'd like to let her go a few days past prime for a good narcotic high.
Any other estimates?

I'd say two, maybe even three more weeks. How long have they been in flower now? Indicas are usually about 9 weeks and sativas range from 9-12 weeks.

Glad we all agree. I hate deciding when to snip. It's a great day, yet it's over ya know. Sometimes I want it to keep going. Then I remember I can always grow more.
Got some real nice ladies catching up. All hairy and fat. Just how I like them.
I did some more moving the plants around. The plants I had leaning for better light. Grew into a, "C" shape almost. But slowly I'm pulling them back. Didn't really like the way they were growing.
