One more question though, when adding the nutrients to i just throw them in the soil or like mix them into the water that i give the plant? And will warmer water be better than cooler?

Ideal water temp is around 70degrees on hydro, not sure if its any different on soil. Just room temperture, like luke warm. And i always mix the nutrients with water first. Rarely are nutrients made to be added without water. Its going to depend on the kind you buy. But it almost always has directions on it which indicates how to mix it.

THIS IS ALSO MY FIRST GROW, SO ANY ADVICE THAT WILL HELP THE OUTCOME WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED : )

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I cant tend to this plant everyday so the lightings a little screwed up, its growing really slow and showing signs of sickness or disease.

150w cfl in a semi-cold basement.

Do i need a light timer for it to grow?

Pistils are also very crystally but won't bud.

Also, how do i know what stage its in? Ive had it for a long while, but its cycles are all messed up so it didn't grow right. I want to know the stage so i know what to set the timer for once i get it.

And how would i go about changing the soil, or should i just add things to the soil?

Any ideas on heating the aquarium/plant area would be very helpful ( not lighting because im already using CFL's) which don't give much heat.

HELP!
First, if that is foil around the plant ,replace it with Mylar, cheap source of Mylar? the inside of a potato chip bag....

Second, get a heat mat , the plant likes a warm bottom!

Third, if that is a clay pot , replace it with a cheapO plastic pot , the roots of the plant can "adhere" to the clay pot , and make it real difficult to transplant ,when the time comes.Repot into a bigger pot ,add more soil / perlite mix. Get some Fox Farm "Grow Big".

Fourth, Put your lights on a timer 18hours ON, 6hours OFF.

Fifth, PRAY !

Alright, should i just cut up chip bags and basically tape them on the inside? And should i just switch the pots now?

Seriously, mylar can be bought at most hardware stores , BUT chips are more fun ! Get a roll of mylar tape and go to town stitching all of those chip bags together !!
YES, the advise that I gave you is what I would be doing right NOW.....
My first grow was CFL, I flowered them at 21 days, and I got some nice bud out of them, BUT , if I had it to do over again I would have vegged them another two weeks at least .

Just so you know, you can go out and buy Mylar or panda film for the same price as chips. Just won't be as tasty or funny to think about. That Panda film i bought from the hydro store was $1 per foot and each foot in length was 5 feet wide. So for probably $2 you could line that entire thing with Panda film which reflects 90% of light. Mylar is better though and just as cheap, reflects 98% + of light. I like Panda film because its a thicker mil and doesn't rip easily.

Earlier you said, Get some Fox Farm "Grow Big". should I just take the plant out then throw it in a plastic pot and go half and half with regular soil. Or just use all fox farm

Do not use outside soil. you will bring unwanted guest to your grow room. Knock off most of the soil from around the outer part of your root ball and transplant it into the fox farms. That soil is very rich and will feed your plant for a week or so til it's ready for weak doses of nutes. Do not use the recomended amount on the bottle, cut it into 4ths and mix that. Like if it says 15ml per liter and there's almost 4 liters in a gallon add 15ml per gallon. On the next feed use the same 15ml but don't fill the gallon all the way up. Then on the next feeding give it 30ml in a gallon and so on til your at full strength. ALWAYS ph your feed and alternate with plain water between each feeding.... You'll like th results...

Thanks that really breaks it down! But the soil it's been in is outside soil, when i brought it inside i just took it right out of the ground and used the same soil, threw some worms in there so they would help the soil. Didn't seem to harm it, no pests. But i'll get the foxfarm and transplant it right away.

The problem with outside soil is even though a plant can grow in it just fine outside it isn't good soil. As a plant grows outside it can develope a root system that will grow very deep and spread out quite far to be able to reach all the nutrients it needs in the wild. When you bring that same soil inside you will find that A. It doesn't have the nutes a plant needs. B. it is very compact and doesn't have pearlite so the roots will not get the oxygen they need nor will th soil retain water.

Since you dug it up and the plant is fairly small You should try to get as much of the siol off the roots as possible without causing to much stress on the plant. Put it in a pot that has at least 2x the soil that you left on the roots and you should be fine.

I like his effort however, READ! READ! READ!. You can read the whole growers bible online for free. Just Google it. The chip bag is dangerous unless the bags are cleaned. Potato chip grease has a super low flash point and if he uses an incandecent light he may start a fire. This plant started from bag so buy another bag, save the seeds and get educated. Then while you are having fun learning with this plant get the equipment together to do the next ones right. Just have fun and play doc with this one but with your apparent budget constraints, lack of proper equipment and most of all education ( which is free). You won't yield much from this girl ( if it isn't a herm yet) if so seed it and save them to start over. In summary get educated and just have fun. P/S Happy Holidays and safety first.
