Seeds

The only benefits I see from them is for those who want to do a perpetual grow in a single grow room/tent and for outdoor grows. My area isn't the best for outdoor grows, because it gets too cold and damp before they are ready for harvest, so I'm going to try some autos outside this year.
I strongly recommend vegging the autos indoor and flowering out.

Just to keep them out of the elements while they are young? The only thing that made me think to do them from seed outdoors was so I don't have to worry about hardening them off if I start them indoors.

I would at least keep them inside the first 3-4 weeks. They like long days. Friend that did them outside they only did about an ounce each. Cute single kolas sticking out of the dirt but small. And yes to keep them out of the elements. Give them ideal veg conditions so they get decent size.

Was that bud green on the inside or purple all the way through?
It had a lot of purple all the way through. If I bought it from a plug I would've swore it was dipped in food coloring. I stepped on one of the purple sugar leaves and it made a purple stain the shape of the leaf on my white socks. The flavor is amazing too. It has almost a turpentine smell to it with hints of grape flavor. I thought I was imagining the grape flavor until I had some friends try it.

Was there any green to it?

Rookie question here. If your growing indoors does sunlight coming through windows lighting up the room count as light or do they have to be under direct artificial light? Also how do you check and adjust ph levels in the soil?

Sunlight coming in through a window isnt nearly enough light to grow. If you buy good potting soil from the grow shop, it will have proper ph.

Sorry to high jack but I dont want to make a thread for seeds when there is one.
I got some purple kush seeds from crop kings and they look dark dark brown and ones almost black is that normal for the strain?
You'll have to compare the look of the seeds at different breeders/seed banks.

To be honest, I never had anything reliable come out of Crop King seeds. It seemed like out of 10 seeds, I'd get 10 different looking plants. Some I couldn't keep healthy no matter what I did, while I had different genetics of all types running in the same tents.

Each person's experience is different, but thought I'd throw that out there. Your mileage may vary.

I tried but there's not many good pics online of seeds and with out ordering more from a different breeder it would be hard to tell even with a good pic.

I have heard the same but there white widow turned out fine so far and seems to be the right strain. My 2nd parents use them often with out a problem.

I guess this will be a test of faith in crop king.

I cant wait till cannabis shops in my province have a good stock of seeds.

Again sorry OP for the high jack. Gotta keep the newbie section clear of redundant threads.

And thank you both for responding so quickly.

What province? Are you aware that you can order online from any seed bank? For the ones in Canada, most of them accept eTransfer as payment (as well as all major credit cards, and some even Paypal).

AB I see your in BC.
I'm aware a little weary about getting burned by a seed supplier.
Even big names like crop kings has storys of screwing ppl.
