Do people send these guys cash in an envelope and they deliver? Man that's scary sounding for a first timer.
Before you place an order, send them an email and ask if they have any other payment options. Some of them will let you pay via PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc, even if they don’t advertise it. None of them will advertise they accept PayPal because PayPal will freeze accounts if they are being used to buy anything that violates their TOS.

Just grab a money order and sent it with DC (delivery confirmation)

Great Lakes is legit. Highly recommend them. JBC is another that super fast. They also have "alternative" payment options. Just hit them up in email.

I decided to cancel the ILGM and purchase from Great Lakes since it is near by. I decided on PRE-98 Bubba S1. Hope I made a good choice. I will ask them if they will do paypal.
Keep in mind that plant doesnt like to be topped. Might want to find a bubba cross that will give you better yield. Katsu has a ton of them. The diesel cross is his favorite.

I was wanting an auto flower but didn't see any on there. I read where they are less maintenance and good for rookies like me. Anybody got a good suggestion? Would they even let me switch now that I placed my order? ILGM sent me an email today and said it would be 3 weeks at the worst. I wanted their gorilla glue 4.

I don't know where beginners have been getting information like this, but you aren't the first to incorrectly believe it. Auto flowers are NOT less maintenace. They are actually far less forgiving with mistakes commonly made by beginners, and any mistake you make will adversely affect the final yield you get. The only thing that is "easier" about auto flowers is that you don't have to change the lighting schedule or have them in complete darkness for 12 hours a day for the flowering phase. Autos grow very quickly, early on, and very susceptable to stress from transplanting. This means that you have to start the seeds in a large pot and that makes over watering a very easy mistake to make for beginners. I would highly suggest you start with photo period seeds before you try autos.

If you wanted an autoflower, this strain is probably perfect for you. Its not an auto but its really good.

Autos are not as potent as their photo counterparts. Autos are way to temperamental. I truly see no benefit to them.

The only benefits I see from them is for those who want to do a perpetual grow in a single grow room/tent and for outdoor grows. My area isn't the best for outdoor grows, because it gets too cold and damp before they are ready for harvest, so I'm going to try some autos outside this year.

I see now where Great Lakes does have Gorilla Glue 4. Will they let me switch my order? I still not paid them. I am so glad I found this site. Lots of good info.

The only way to know would be to reach out to them and ask. I'm pretty sure GG #4 is a clone only strain so any GG #4 seeds you find are usually just a similar cross to the original.

Couple weeks unless you pay Express shipping. I live in Indiana and have ordered from ILGM 4 times and never had an issue.

Just pay with the e-check. Its quick and easy and they don't rip people off.
My journal link is in my signature if you want to see some of their plants I've grown.

Here's their Gorilla Glue (left) and Blue Dream(right)...

I've received all my orders from ILGM in a bout a week on the east coast. The picture in my avatar is ILGM OG Kush, too.

I'm a newbie grower and I'm currently growing a sativa hybrid that has been quite easy to grow.

I have ordered seeds from JBC, payed using PayPal, and my seeds came pretty quick.

I grew their Kush Auto on my first grow along with Bubble Gum and Jack Herer. All are good smoke.
Everything I've grown of theirs has been great. Their Purple Haze and OG Kush came out amazing. I'm a lightweight and I have to cut both of those strains with some CBD flower or I get way too wasted. Check out the frost on the purple haze from them that I grew.
