Hey guys, about to get some seeds and i ordered a 4ft shop light with two 20w LED t8 tubes, however i wasnt thinking when i ordered it and i just realized they're 4000k bulbs, i know that the optimum spectrum for vegging is 5000k-6500k but does it matter enough to re order the right temp for just the seedlings light? i have the proper veg lights already 3 250w CFL 6400k.

4000k will work just fine dont fret.

Those cfls are overkill and the insides are toxic so be careful

Are you looking at watt equivalent on a store package or actual draw from the wall but yeah 4000°k will work just fine

For the cfls I was talking the 6400k ones you mentioned

its the actual draw thats 48w, the equivalent is like 120-180w i believe.

and oh yeah those cfl's are pretty strong for a solid price, but for 8 plants vegging i feel like 3 250w might even be too little
