I would be careful hmmm.
Sexologist is right about cfl''s but he needs to take into account, most cfl's are around the 18 to 20 watt area, you're is 125watts red/blue specialised grow light which is far more powerful than your average cfl.
The best thing to do is put the plant as close as possible and hold a thermometer near the plant top, if the temps are way above 80 degrees then move it away.
Look at the size of your light compared to most cfl's, it's about three times the size.
At least now your plants are big and strong enough to deal with small changes and the odd bit of stress.
Good luck mate.

My cfl is 250 watt and is 1-4 inches away from my young plants and they arnt burning and are doing great. Seriously tho the cfl is nearly touching some of them but it works! I dont think the cfl is hotter than a greenhouse environment either so Im not worrying about the heat. They love it!

By the way youre really lucky to have got one of each sex! Aw theyre a cute little couple :)

You could try burning some insense if you cant actually get rid of the smell...? Then just blame that weird smell on the insense!

"Runt" is doing well in the green house looks healthy than Trinity at the moment just my luck! Not sure what's going on with Trinity she still has yellow edges on some of her leaves and the bottom ones have gone a really light colour. I dunno what to do maybe i will give her a small dose of my organic nutes next time i water her. Might help her along a bit?

About the yellowy leaves again. Ive just been doing some searching. Do you use lots of nutes or use them often? Ive seen people suggest chemical burn is the problem so maybe cut back, try giving her just water for a few days? But someone also said theyve grown lowryders a few times and it always happens, but its ok as long as it doesnt get too bad, so it might be a genetic problem. So... pH, over-nuting or genetics?!

genraly as the plants get older the oldest leafs tend to get a bit ropey, its just age nothing really to worry bout. a dose of nute wouldnt go a miss th, go half strength first time to seee how she takes it.

I havn't gave her any nutes yet so i dont think it can be nute burn. I havn't watered her for a couple of days either so if it was due to there being to many nutes in the soil i transplanted her in it should be getting better by now not worse.

also some plant problems display similar symptoms, like over watering looks like under watering lol. too many nutes can look like not enough and so on there's so many factors to take into consideration its mind boggerling lol

I think i have decided what i'm going to do with the male plant now. Have decided that i'm going to take some pollen from him and pollanate some of the lower branches on Trinity. Since i only have 3 lowryder-2 seeds left. Not sure what i'm going to do with him then. Is there any point at all in smoking him? Or will there be no effects?

some ppl will tell u can make hash out of him but i jus chuck my males in the compost not worth smoking really but a good chance to get some seeds. Id go for it give the chance id leave them together to make lotsa seeds then ya set for a while. Im gonna leave my lowryder to seed its self and make some fem seeeds hopefully lol, could be a ten eleven weeker lol

Lol. I don't want that many seeds! Not sure if i really want any was thinking of buying some fem lowryder-2 seeds for next time. Then it makes it easy i would only need to germ one seed then cos i can only fit one fully grown plant in my cab anyways.

As for the male i might make him into hash. Just because i have no bud till Trinity is harvested. If i did make him into hash when do i harvest him???
