It's a fish tank submersible heater, where I live, heating prices are insane and winter is comming, so I figure that will be cheaper than heating the room up, as I'm guessing my LED won't be enough on it's own to keep things warm enough, and I don't want to run the house heating to that high.
This is just an educated guess so far, though, ambient temps in the room are about 18C at the moment, and will get lower over the next few months.
The water heater has a thermostat so I can set it to only turn on if water temp dips below 18c, and it will turn off again once its at 18c. I can set it a little higher at 20c if needs be.
The container is an oxypot 4 DWC, with water level to the bottom of the baskets its about 120L, but I'll be letting the water level drop a bit as roots grow.
Light is a maxibright LED, 300w.

Just doing 3 plants as it's my first time DWC (compost grower before so good to know were both kinda learning on this

)and I've only 6 seeds at the moment, I'm doing a grow diary that you can find in the link in my signature.
Yeah, I was wondering if the glue from the tape might cause an issue' if it's sat in the nute fluid. I've got plenty extra legnth in the tubing so I could chop off what I've done and do a more professional /neater job.. I would also be interested if anyone can chime in on that. I'm using 3M black duct tape and I won't be able to take it off without wrecking the tubes I don't think.
