i've posted the video several times, his words are along the lines of "of course the goal is to move towards privatizing all schools".

if all schools are private, what has been done to public education? answer: it has been abolished.

i don't get what you're saying about my candidate of choice 3 years ago, but it is amusing watching ron paul supporters flail about now that he is in the spotlight and all the shitty stuff is not flying well with people who like to vote and whatnot.

I still don't see where he said he wanted public schools gone. The way I see see it he wants to end federal involvement in the program along with many other federal programs like the IRS, welfare. I just can't say no to someone that wants to limit federal involvement in day to day life.

I think people do not want to investigate information for themselves and rely on someone Else's choice or opinion to make it for them. Like a Pastor in a church, how many votes does he or she cast via their congregation?

If there were LOCAL public schools, Paul would have no issue. When public school is run by the federal government, there is an issue.

Is this the same video from 25 years ago that says "local control of education would be much better than federal control."?? and " Competition would ensure our children receive the best possible education"? RP was speaking as a pure libertarian in 1988, he is a Republican now if you hadn't noticed, he is on the debates and stuff, fer reals dude.

If you hadn't noticed, there really are people who want their children growing up believing in Jesus, Adam, Eve, garden of Eden, original sin, sacrifice, temptation, forgiveness and love and all that jazz, just like there are other people who want their children to grow up believing in some dude named Mohammad and then there are others who would rather their children grow up believing in whatever they want to believe in. no, i am actually for all those things, which is why i am for amending the public education system in the style of finland or south korea, one of those countries that does way better than we do.

i am not in favor of throwing out the baby with the bathwater, as ron paul favors. another example of his "my lai" approach to governing.

i voted for obama in 2008 because of the alternative, same as i will be doing this year.

it's all about momentum. this thing could be over sooner than i thought if romney wins iowa. i still predict a ron paul win there.

i don't rely on them, i take their polls into account as well as others.

their polls don't deviate too much from the average at all. which forces me to ask you for examples when their scientific polls got it so very wrong.

While i prepare to hop in bed after a nice SD bowl, let it not be misconstrued that i support cnn's polling methods. Tbh, i don't know enough about their methods to pass judgement.

HOWEVER, i must say that given their slanted reporting on the results, one can only assume that they are looking to pollsters that support their leanings.
