I live in Davis now...well for the past 10 years I have atleast. But I lived in South San Fran previously...all of my family is in San Fran and Oakland....Im down there every weekend for the most part. But yea Death Angel rules...o hey check out All Time Highs...its the lead singer from Death Angel playing some old school balls to the wall Rock n Roll...I just saw them a few months ago...fucking killer group. O yea...as far as Lamb of God goes get their album's "As The Palaces Burn" and "Ashes of the Wake"

Haha Right on! \m/ Not sure what the song is called on As the Palaces burn...but its song number 7 I believe...I love the riff...also Vigil the last song is fucking mosh madness! If you have time I recommend another band called God Forbid....pretty cool...I like the albums "Gone Forever" & "IV : Constitution Of Treason" and of course Im sure you have heard of Shadows Fall? If not I really dig their album called " War Within" and their newest "Threads of Life"

-If you don't already have...these might be some what hard to find...but Crumbsuckers "Beast on my back" "Life of Dreams" fucking love those albums...still looking for them on cd's myself only got them on tape..
-You seem like a guitar guy...so Im goin to suggest Marc Rizzo "Colossal Myopia" He is the guitarist from Soul Fly...and he fucking shreds hardcore! Still can't get over this guys musical abilities...he can play a mean flamenco.
-New and up and coming band that sounds like old sabbath and some maiden and old tallica is The Sword album is called "Winter of Ages" I crank this bad boy up and head bang so hard I black out for a little ...haha.

i have frostwire. it's a file share account. you would be amazed at what i find. there are more remixes and cover tunes than you would ever imagine. almost every band has a mock metallica song. unreleased studio versions of some really crazy shit.

Meshuggah's "Nothing" they have two versions...both are fucking awesome...I saw these guys live two years ago...they fucking rocked the crowd. Also "I" is a awesome album by them aswell.

Not sure if you will like these guys but DragonForce's "Sonic Firestorm" is pretty interesting...they play some guitar solos that sound like old school video game noises.

And something so deathly but technical...I had to acquire the taste for the vocals but I most def dig them now...Nile's "Annihilation of the Wicked" most technical death metal Ive ever encountered so far.
