LMAO. That's why I hate these post that don't make sense. It gets A BUNCH of people(INCLUDING ME AND THE WIFE) P-noided. All for what? The dude making some kind of bad choice or something. Yes but your IP address does not make you a grower, a smoker, a dealer, getting caught with weed does. your IP address to them means nothing.
the miranda rights happened. you're free to talk about it, its there to come up in a court of law, and legally or illegally prosecutors will dig it up.
you can definitely argue it pretty easily if you get a good lawyer
There are so many more users of RIU than there are cops at computers on stoner forums, so actually the more people who use it, the lower the risk.

But if ur postings are from that IP address it CAN BE incriminating brother. So it doesn't matter if ur a grower or dealer...... If u say u harvest a ton on here they can find ur IP address and link u to that post. Enuff said

Did anyone ever hear about the guy that got caught through ''you tube'' he put up all his details like true name and website etc,
They even spoke to him as he left court, and he turns to the camera and says ( i wont make that mistake NEXT TIME ) giving a very big hint there will be a next time, you tube right enough, the boy needs pulled aside and spoken to.

Point taken, but anyone thats been busted in the past i doubt very much its been through an IP address, most people get done through people with big mouths and big ears, or if you have alot of coming and going at your home, ''little short'' visits etc, cops are not stupid but clues must still be left to get caught.

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Which brings me to the whole point of this thread! THE DUDE IS NOT TELLING US 100% of the WHOLE story. He made the mistake of doing something he's not fully tellin us. Not that he's a liar! He might have simply shown someone his crop and NOT have mentioned that to us. His details were horrible on the whole situation!

Here's the deal that I heard in Jail.
it's called the 3 for one deal. You turn in 3 others and convict them of felonies. Then the cops say, that you will be shown forgiveness for being a Rat Bitch!
I was called in by an anonymous call, Called into the local MJ hotline. You can make up to $2500.00 for convicting pot growers.
How fucked is all that....?
what do you need to know...? specifically. I'm telling the truth. Mange!....sure there's a few things. But, i was busted for three plants. thinking that I was way off the radar. And then You get called in, when the informant knows about your online antics!!!! its like a self-----set-up!!!!

And you should listen to the Miranda Rights, any thing you say can and will be used against you. So as soon as you say one thing, you place your self at the scene of the crime. Obviously, someone other than just you and your hot ass girlfriend had to have known something. Snitches are bitches, but you definitely need to do your part by keeping your lips sealed. You joined this website in February, and you've already been busted. There are members here who have been around for YEARS (not months) and who have never had a single run in with the law enforcement.
