Next time use Photobucket so you can delete pics in the future & try using a private paid VPN that way if they give the police your info (although their not allowed to according to the legal contract) you can sue them.

I still don't get this?????????? I have beeen following this for an hour now. every time I try to post something there's a new post. Now I have read enuff and need to speak. And so u guys kno, not trying to be tuff or ANYTHING like that.......... But all this is coming from someone who was setup by his BF wife and had to do 17 months in prison. Cause by law if they are requested to present scripts from postings, they WILL have to furnish those documents, or face prison time themselves. And I doubt RIU wants to get stuck w/ thousands of members dirty laundry)........ But as I was saying....... Them needing RIU is complete BS and ignorance. Let me explain why.............. I myself had an altercation w/ a gentleman in one of RIU forums. The guy was threatening me and another gentleman/woman on there, when all of a sudden.................. This asshole posted my IP address, My Internet Service Provider, and What city AND state I lived in. Now did he need RIU for all that info????????????? Besides the fact I was LOGGED ON to RIU, there was no other fault of RIU. Everytime we chat w/ someone on here, WE'RE AT RISK. So they DO NOT need RIU to get ur info! all they need is exactly wat that guy posted about me just my IP and my provider is enough for them to get info from my service provider. Or does ur provider NOT have ur billing address, LMAO. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they can print ur posts w/o RIU and they can get ur IP address and UR location and then can't info from ur provider w/o RIU. Truthfully the whole story doesn't make sense. Now I'm not saying it wasn't true. I really believe the gentlemen saying this happend are completely telling the truth about getting BUSTED. That much I believe. But the WHOLE story doesn't add up. U say it's cause ur mind is cluster fucked but the story has had more info added as this story has progreesed. It started out with RIU is to blame to u living w/ 3 people. LITTLE IMPORTANT DETAILS keep getting added to the story. U've kinda added more details to the story at least 3 or 4 times already. Lol DRdodge29 your right, how this all started was me and a mod going at it ignoring the topic creator. Mod said I lied about trying to rob someone and almost getting my head blown off with a .45 calibur pistol. Then he gave me -rep after saying everything was cool. THEN the spliff (creator of topic) got angry and started blaming riu even more which luda then smacked him down which got him even more angry. Then some guy said 911 was an inside job which got me angry which then I had to shut him down. then spliff started making no damn sense so i stopped defending him. Oh yeah most informants DO NOT GET payed......... It's normally to gain CREDIBILITY in court. See let me explain something that might come in handy for some people. In order for an "informant" to become a CI(Confidential Informant), they have to prove to the court their credibility. People don't realize that 75% of the people incarcerated are normally NOT found guilty but actually take the PLEA BARGAIN. Let's face it guys....... Normally when we're in jail it's cause we did something wrong and we know it. So when they come at u with "U can be doing 15 years for this but we'll let u off w/ probation" WE ARE QUICK TO TAKE IT, cause in reality we know we did it....... WHAT WE DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO THINK ABOUT IS......... WAS EVERY THING EXECUTED IN THE RIGHT FASHION? See I can't get busted and be turned into a CI. Though it happens EVERYDAY. People get used to set up their dealers, BUT most of those people don't fight their cases. So the CI almost never has to take the stand. Cause if u get a CI that has never proven their credibility, then the court takes it as that person isn't trust worthy because their just trying to get their own legal matters taken care off. So the court knows that when that CI takes the stand HIS/HER credibility WILL be questioned. The defense will try to prove "how is this criminal different then the criminal who is snitching on him. Does that makes sense to anyone? BOTH the snitch and defendant are criminals, so the snitch HAS to prove to the court that it is more trust worthy than the other criminal. And 1 or 5 busts is not gonna prove that. That's why if u ever watch the show DEA, they always send their CI on a test buy. To test the CI and see if their trust worthy. Trust me I know this cause I studied it in jail, awaiting my trial. As a matter of fact, anyone interseted in what I just said can look it up in a book called "Black's Law Book" & "Black's Law Dictionary". Also people can't just call and tell the about u growin MJ. It has to be "set up". U had to break some law, or be under investigation for something else, beside growing MJ in order for them to execute the MJ investigation. This is my stiry on that. I used to hang w/ this girl 5-8 ago. Well her and her man broke up and he REALLY fucked her over. Well being that she knew he grew weed, and after several attempts of trying to get a lot of her cash that he screwed her on.......... She called the NARCs(drug detectives that work w/ feds) in our county. She then told them that he had a shed FULL of plants. The detectives asked her if she was willing to go in and make a buy or get some pics? She said it couldn't happen. They thanked her for the info and said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. By the way they asked her who she was AND she told them she was an angry ex-GF. So they KNEW it was true. They love when an angry GF or X calls, cause they know she's being vendictive, so it's always true. Well needless to dude never got busted for that. I must say though she got screwed, I DID NOT agree w her actions. Me personally, I would have put 1 between his eyes... But 2 each there own. I'm just happy she wasn't my EX. LMAO!

nothing you said implicates RIU for anything. in fact, most of your post was angry rambling that did not make a lot of sense. first off, never let anyone search your house no matter what. a judge over the phone is bullshit. they need a written warrant. they probably tell everyone there is a judge on the phone to get you to let them in. they probably never called anyone, and you bit hook, line, and sinker.

if you are going to do something that is highly illegal, as growing weed is, than you should be prepared for the concequences and not a blame a message board that never asks for any personal info from you. when i signed up to RIU i gave them no personal info. no one on this board even knows my name, much less where i live.

if you put your personal info in your profile that is your doing and a mistake on your part. RIU would not hold up in court unless there was proof that your log in, or online RIU personality, is in fact you. there is nothing associated with my account that is tied to me personaly, besides maybe your IP address. and even then there is no way for the feds to find out your IP address from RIU. and i'm not even sure if your IP could be traced back to you through RIU. bottom line, you are just trying to scare a bunch of paranoid pot heads away because you got caught. and dont get me wrong, i feel for you. and it sucks we live in a country that does these things to it's own citizens. it's absolutely terrible. but dont accuse a website that does nothing but help people achieve meaningful goals for themselves of something that is not even possible.

Chef I agree with u 99.9% the .01% is the feds and regular people CAN in fact get ur IP off of just the forums in RIU. Eveytime we post something someone can find ur IP. And from there they can find ur Service provider and they(feds or police) can get ur home address or any info on u. And I found that out the hard way right here on RIU. As a matter of fact FFD or watever that moderators SN is had his banned from my forum and deleted his posts cause that dude posted my IP, my Service Provider, AND the city and state I live in.
