Guys, keep the crappy nutrient filled soil away from the #18 and the Lemon OG and you will be the happiest person on the planet. Including Fox Farm = THE worst soil in the world for the #18. Black Gold my friends. Black Gold.

I got a Lemon OG that came out Mango. It's oranges, lemon and fuel. Yum 8)

With all the negative comments in this thread I'm kind of worried about my choices for my next run since I have RP OG #18 and RP Purple OG #18 and 91 Krypt. I bought the first two based on positive reviews from various sites with people claiming great things and using terms like "keeper pheno". I hope they turn out well and not fussy with the nutes or low yielding. Ran the DNA's Chocolpes indoors and out this year and it was good too me, good yields and great smoke. Not the strongest smoke the outdoors was stronger, smell was was very sweet and fruity outdoors and more of a rotten fruit indoors, indoors looked amazing though very frosty and foxtailed, tasted great too, grows bushy and they need support for the multiple tops with these massive dense buds. Was hoping for much the same with these other DNA/RP seeds but now I'm not too use. I've heard nothing about the 91 Krypt has anyone run these beans or heard anything about them. They were an impulse buy they didn't have the TH Seeds Critical HOG. So I asked about the guy if he had any of The DNA Limited seeds and he showed me what he had which was most of them but I hadn't read up on them at the time and took a risk.

all i know is that my og 18 from fem seed got TALL in flower. this b*tch wants to kill itself... it just stretches and stretches forever until it starts to bud. my buddy has this same plant since i cut him a couple clones of it. he has an original OGK too. only major difference is that the 18 is easier to get to multi-top. slightly less apically dominant. otherwise pretty much the same super stretchy strain.

the one i have in flower atm has some bleaching due to it stretching so fast on me, and my own error. like one person said tho, its got those spear shaped, super dark green leaves when its healthy. u can see the chem 91 in it for sure imo. ive grown other OGKs that werent quite so stretchy and tall.

and to whoever said how can OGK be airy??? its not hard. the other OGKs that were less stretchy had MUCH harder, denser nuggets in the end. in fact my buddy's OGK i speak of is quite a bit more airy than the dinachem he just grew right along with it, and a ton of others. the 18's buds are very similar to the original OGK so far.

in respect to the OP's topic in the 1'st post... yeah RP/DNA's OGK/OG 18 seem to be the most stretchy OGK's ive seen in person so far. the quality of the smoke is right on though... taste and all. the dinachem i mentioned has a very similar taste and high, but the nugs are way bigger and more dense. i didnt expect that. ive grown dinafem's ogk too. it was fire bud, dense, less stretchy, but RP's tasted/smelled stronger and better. i think i read dinafem's is an "Emerald OG"

the high, the taste, the smell... 10/10 on the RP/DNA OGK tho. so idk about them losing the original or anything... just a lanky one.

I loved the OG#18. I grew it out a while back and the buds were super dense. Mine yielded like shit under a 400w, but I smoked some with a chick that was by no means a lightweight and she got all dizzy and couldn't walk! Lol! I was like wtf? I had to carry that bitch in her house. The shit was potent. I have 2 seedlings that I just started for my next run. It was a good strain, and all my friends liked it a lot.

My RP OG is definitely more Indica dom so hopefully she doesn't stretch as much in flowering. She might be less potent than a sativa dom but that's ok with me. I'm in it for the taste and smell.

Sorry, haven't checked back here in a few days.

This is the baby I use http://blackgold.bz/products/?id=62

What a difference!! No more leaves burned off and plants dead. The real good #18 grows just like a weed coming out of a crack in the sidewalk. Top her again and again to make a bush. She won't argue. When she needs food she will turn her dark green leaves a bit lighter. That's only if you missed giving her that little drop of food she thrives on per week.

Use this soil. I never recommend anything to people here and when I do I back my shit up. Case in point - My fan thread a few years back. Haven't seen anything new since so I never updated it. But this soil turned my shit around 180 degrees.

Plant it, water it, and leave it alone. No food for 2 to 3 weeks and ONLY if the leaves look lighter than they should be. This is a VERY good soil for transplanting up with. Once you reach your 4 week limit with your gallon pot size in veg, transplant to a 3 plus gallon container and you still wont need food for another 2 to 3 weeks until you go to flower and hit her with a small amount of potassium.

This soil is very forgiving compared to Fox Farm. For all of you Fox Farm users out there..................have you ever watered your girls with no food in it only to see burn a few hours later? I have. It's the extra nitro in the soil that is released by watering your plants. Fox Farm is FULL of it and so are most other shit soils. Use the soil I posted and keep the food in the closet.

Day 34, 5 days 12/12. The stretch has begun. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well she has grown since I hadn't seen her since the flip 5 days ago. I took some pics but need to get on computer to upload so that will happen a little later. She smells great too!

Holy stretch! This OG decided to stretch extremely high after the switch and outgrow my box. So outside she goes. Does anyone know if she has good mold resistance?

**Plants are about 24 inches tall, seeds went in the rockwool on Nov. 17th, '13 and been veggin since.
***Growing in FoxFarms Ocean Forest, 5 gal pots, 600W HPS, & 4x4x8 ft tent.

Con's :: I originally purchased 7 seeds of each hybrid @$40 each, only 4 of each sprouted, needless to say I was slightly pissed about that shit ratio. So as a beginner grower I added nutes way to early and almost lost my entire crop, luckily bounced back after I flushed them. So I've found they are really temperamental to nutes and feeding. (I am growing all organic too) The veg time seems insanely long to me from what I've read from everyone else and these do not grow fast in my opinion either. I am also concerned that I will have to pull a few more of these once they flower due to herms.

Tomorrow I am pulling my clones off of these, then Friday I am going to lollipop them so that I can flip to 12/12 on Saturday morning. What's flowering like with these strains? Smell? Yield?

Best of Luck!

You do realize that fox farms has enough nutes in it to last a couple weeks without adding anything. I let my vegging plants go 2-4 weeks with only one batch of nutes in between and they are thick green super ready to go ladies. Less is more sometimes.

My OG was LST'd pretty vigorously for the past 4 weeks in hopes to keep it short. But....she is a stretcher for sure. If I ever run her again I think I will top a few times and bush her out or even mainline her. I think she might work best mainlining now that I think about it.

Starting to wonder now if I should have LST'd the sativa considering the plants themselves without the pots are already over 2 foot tall, I bet they bounce within a few weeks of flowering. Son of a b.

RP OG kush, just harvested 3 weeks ago... Good shit! I like reserva privada silver kush and sour diesel better though... sour diesel was best yielding out of the 3.

Would have been a good idea to top all of the plants though because they all grew pretty tall and slender as far as bushing goes.
