hey so at day 36 or so of veg, thinking about flipping in 4 days, what do you guys think? i have plenty of room vertically, but the screen looks like its 70% full, no? i started "lollipopping" some of the lower branches today. so what do you guys think? switch in 4 days or wait another week or two?

Looks good. I feel you can tuck a few tops to the next outer square, veg for a couple more weeks to let the middle of the foliage stretch to the screen.

so to update, i bought 2x 40w CFL 2700k bulbs, although one of them got here not working -.- so i sent it back and im waiting on the new one, until then i put in a cfl i had laying around, hence why one bulb is smaller than the other lol.

theyre both definitley still growing strong, however im not sure how easily i can spread out all the shoots sprouting from the middle. im trying my best to bend them under the net but i dont want to break any branches!!

also, i found my old areogarden, disassembled it, and pulled out two 26w CFL's and threw them in there as well.

Looks like you need a tighter screen. Flatten that canopy out. Its not a canopy if its vertical. Looks more like 40-50 % full.

Pinch the branch and dent it enough to bend it over. That will help with the horizontal training.

im confused, that video looked more like him just pruning all the leaves under the canopy
Notice how full the screen is. Also, it is all even. Not pointed up in the middle with little branches around it like yours.

Good luck

Looks a little better. Like I mentioned, pinch the branch and damage it. It will allow you to go horizontal with the bigger branches. The little ones, of course, just bend them over without pinching. Anytime I think I have hurt them, they just come back stronger. You'll be fine....if you fuck up you will will learn. Fill that screen some more and keep them even. You want a sea of green with the tops that grow up from the screen. I think its better to fill the screen a little too much then you can cut back and keep the best branches. ....ok buzzy and rambling...goodluck
