Question about adding second 240w Quantum to 1 squared meter

Hi All you wonderful and knowledgeable people,

So, straight to the point: I currently have a 11 sq. foot (1mx1mx2m) tent in which I sport a 220w Highlight UV quantum board. I have come across a good deal and found myself a 240w LM301H board that I could not say no to.

Now, I know 220w in 1 squared meter was a little on the low side, hence why I jumped on this occasion... BUT, will 460w be too much for my grow space? Will I need to have a greater distance from the canopy or dim them down a lot? Or can I go as much as I see until the plant shows heat/light stress?

Also, Would it be safe to assume that I should use the one UV board for Veg, and during flower use the two together? I would not think the two would be needed during Veg... and that the UV one suffices, but you guys know more than me....

Sorry, I am a LED noob, have searched around, but did not find an answer to my satisfaction....

Thanks in advance!

Im running 2 2000w LED (4000w) in same space as you for a while now. seems to work well. Not sure if it's answers your question

What is the actual watt draw from the wall? Do you know? Also, are we talking blurple or white board/COB?

The actual watt is 202 a piece, they are spider farm sf2000 full spectrum grow light
Amazing, thanks for the info, so esencially similar boards. Good to know you run that in there without issue! Do you dim at all, or 100% on both? do you use both for Veg, or only one?

Thanks for the info mate, it puts my mind at ease!

450 watts of good diodes in a space that size will work quite well.
I'm running the same power density in my main room and the plants love it.
Also, you can always dim down.

Thank you for your answer! i can always dim, that is true....

And would you run them both from the start on a lower power level, or stick to one during veg?

Running 3x 240w qb 3500k in a 3.3'x4.4'(100x135 cm), about 50 cm above canopy in flower. Dim for veg.

Those two boards will treat u good in that space no doubt.

I don't dim I use the both full power. Maybe I shouldn't but worked well so far.

Quoted wrong comment. Meant to ask op if he use both switches in veg
Switches? I dont have switches if you refer to the veg/bloom switches some blurples have, I dont have that, just a dimmer. If you refer to using the 2 actual boards, I am going to start using the 2 straight from veg, dimmed down.

I also got qb's white light boards but they have a switch for flower + dimmer. Was just curious if u had any experience with it. I never used mine in veg but thought maybe I'm missing out. Carry on

I see! no, I do not have a switch unfortunately, One of the boards has UV range, but it's always on. Thanks for answer, I think I am at ease and gonna happily put the 2 QB's in there!
