So for everyone new, I think the proper dry is more important than the curing process. I have experimented in my own dinky/ninja ways .
The key is to let it dry fully before you jar it up. I under-dried some killer herb and jarred it up too early. If you do that it doesnt dry properly; it even loses that bright green you get when dried long enough. Then you get that rotten eggs/skunk smell(no mold) going on with it..
I guess it is all preference but I think drying right gets the best appearance/taste. It is even okay to wait for the stems to snap/crackle. Bc when you jar it up, it gains back moisture and after a week is perfect.
