Uncovered outdoor, pest issues late flower..Harvested 3 days ago. When looking through the loupe at 60x most trichomes have very thin, shriveled stalks which i’m assuming is just due to the elements/strain. I had no PM while growing…this just kinda looks like PM from what i’ve seen on google…i’m thinking it’s just broken stalks/lil hairs on pistils from bug movement/wind/rain, wanted to see what everyone thinks as I’d rather not smoke mildew, first pic is one in question IMG_0170.jpeg

I chopped em down without taking whole plant shots as they were looking sad, the botrytis was moving up the stems. i have some dried bud shots but idk if that would help,

I suffer from horrible OCD..so the thought of getting some weird lung infection is definitely making me anxious.. part of me just wants to trash it for peace of mind and start my indoor but also part of me is saying “keep it it looks fine”

I circled a few of the things that make me wonder if I'm seeing rot. Take a look for some of those brown/muddy looking pistils and any mushy looking spots. Also do I see some seeds?

I'm sorry to hear that and I understand completely. My suggestion is to process it for edibles. With a pH of 1 our stomachs are far better equipped to handle then our lungs.

I appreciate the help! No seeds that I know of so far, and the things you circled are pistils..i had to harvest a lil early so the buds are kinda hairy..some buds have yellow leaves/brown calyx at the base of the stem but i assumed they were just old
since they were the first to come out

That’s what I was thinking, was gonna turn it into coconut oil capsules!…I usually grow indoor, never experience mold, so this is all new to me.

All the pistils I've seen were orange/red. That brown is not a color I've seen on healthy pistils. Me I'd test it:
