I've been having issues with mold (bortrytis I think, some light gray looking fuzzy crap) and ever since I've been doing this wash (mold or not).
My 3 buckets method.
1st bucket = distilled water (4 liters / 1 galon) and 100ml lemon juice and 1 table spoon sodium bicarbonate
2nd bucket = distilled water (4 liters / 1 galon) and 500ml H2O2 (3%)
3rd bucket = just distilled water
I would roughly wet trim (fan leaves, dead leaves etc.) and then dive it in 1st bucket (gently, do a gently twist or two, pull it up), then gently dive it in to the 2nd again gently twist left and right and then last 3rd dive in to clean water, then just hang to dry.
I've been using normal water in my first runs and it was OK; but was told by some chemist people to not use tap water as it has pollutants and chlorium in it and that doesnt' go well in hand with H2O2 and that's best I can explain and maybe it's stupid, because I am not seeing difference between tap water and distilled water.
I do notice some trichs are lost (but that's mostly due to the agitation when washing the flower, so lately when i'm more careful it's barely any losses).
It dries and cures as if it wasn't washed, even though you grow indor, you would be suprised how much shit gets in to your buds ^^
Just my two cents.
