Pot size question from first time grower

So i'm on my first grow, i'm growing super lemon haze in soil under a 600w mh. Right now my babies are 6 days old from sprouting and still in veg pots. I have ready 7 litres (2 gallons) pots for transferring them but i understand that it's not gonna be enough if i wanna veg them for 1,5-2 months. How big should the pots be, considering this strain grows pretty big? would 15 litres buckets suffice?

In my experience, pot size correlates with a plant's resistance to stress. If you grow in a smaller pot and keep your grow room conditions ideal, your plant will probably do very well. On the converse, if you put your plant in a huge pot, you can probably get away with less control over your environment without having it effect your plant too much.
Also, a larger pot with more space for roots means the plant can uptake more food and water and grow more vigorously, and ultimately support more mass, including bud mass.
Allow yourself about a gallon of soil per foot of main stem on your plant.
That being said, you probably won't have any major problems if you grow in a 2-gallon pot, but most growers prefer to spend a few bucks more for the extra bud......................

if your going to veg for 2 months i would use 5 gal. you flower time will be anywhere from 10-13 weeks. that's over 4 months of growth

I stick to a rule of a gal per foot and a gal per month. I have a 4 month cycle so I use 5 gal. check my journal

Fuck! Good job. What lighting? Shows don't need massive Pot for decent size plant. (even though if you have the space might as well! I'm gonna stray 2 gal pots squeezed in tight when get my new grow setup. + rep sir.

that's a big plant man...my grow box is 2,2 metres in height so i hope it will be enough

I would not recommend this pot size for your first grow.

There is no rootbound....just a need to water more often





Your 2 gallon pottters should be fine but I wouldnt go 2 months veg mabey 3-4 weeks veg then flower if they are 1/2 meter tall they will end up 1 1/2 meter tall when done
