That is the problem, the white nationalists understand that you have this problem with the 50 or so antifa proper members, and are using it to attack your city. Antifa is your guys issue to deal with, asking them to leave isn't a real solution.

Standing up to the Nazi's that are attacking your city is not a bad thing, the city was already having to have the nazi parade, so the day was already ruined.

Your neighbors pushing back on it just what the goal is for the trolls to use to explode the situation to more than just one city having its downtown shutdown for a couple hours. Trump is actively asking for this stuff to occur. Place your blame in the right place for the right things.

You are OK with fascists parading their Nazi flags and KKK regalia in the Portland? The violence in Portland yesterday was entirely because fascists who mostly live in the Southern US. planned and came to Portland to riot. Ted Wheeler and the city leaders did a good job of snuffing that by arresting their leaders for earlier violence. Too bad for you that you couldn't see even more beaten Antifa.

I get it. You voted for Trump and are bitter that the US, especially Portland, didn't immediately send dark skinned people back to where they came from.

The violence yesterday was planned and executed by the fascists. The violence yesterday was entirely due to actions by fascists. It doesn't matter your race, it only matters that you are supporting fascists marching in the streets of Portland without opposition. By doing so, you are supporting Trump and all of his racist policies.

Like I said you don't have a clue. I live here. I lived right in the middle of downtown for 14 years. I was in the middle of the 2000 May Day riots. I smelled the tear gas, I saw police in riot gear firing rubber bullets, I walked by people shattering storefront windows, I saw people destroying cars parked on the street. My eyes watered from the pepper spray in the air. That was all the way back in 2000. There have been plenty more violent protests in Portland since then. We were called Little Beirut during the Bush years. Some of us are sick of this crap. It has nothing to do with supporting fascism or trump. Are you trying to say that since I don't go down and join in with the idiots opposing the other idiots that I'm supporting trump and fascism? If so then you're the idiot.

When you get done watching this crap on television how about you see if you can organize a protest/counter-protest in your town. Then go down there and join one side or the other. Have fun. Let me know the date so myself and some other adults can have a nice meal, a couple drinks, and then watch you on the news for a good laugh.

The violence yesterday was entirely due to the actions of fascists who traveled to Portland to have a pre-planned riot.

I was one of the several thousand who showed up to stop them from marching in our streets.

Yesterday's violence was due to right wing outsiders who came to Portland to fight. Start a thread about the May-Day riots from 19 years ago if you like. It was a completely separate event.

Just because it is so important, I wanted to say again, getting worked up online is a waste of time, people are going to always get trolled when things like this get amped up online.

There is a massive 'racism isn't real' push online, then real racist poke their heads up. Trump has been on a 4 week racist hate cycle just in time for the Sunday shows. People on both sides who are vulnerable are being targeted on any chat like this that they happen to be on.

Rudy's rhetoric was present on both sides yesterday in Portland. Sign of the times.

What I find idiotic in your earlier post is this claim that the violence yesterday was due to antifa. Not true at all. White supremacist and fascist groups flew members to Portland planning for a riot. It was their deliberate actions to come here and fight that caused yesterday's disturbances.
