Poor MSNBC...

The funny thing is I've never heard anyone here on the left praise MSNBC

All of you have praised FOX

So there's that

Buck used to swoon as he quoted Laurence O'Donell. Skylard used to gush over Rachel Maddow, and still does.

Virtually all of the lefties here spit and sputter about "faux news". This thread is a good example.

Fox is number 1 for a reason, their reporting is mostly accurate and most Americans identify as conservative.
Why is the democratic party 1/3 larger than the republican one?

Why do a majority of Americans support raising the minimum wage, staying out of the middle east, support a woman's right to choose, support gay marriage, support the legalization of marijuana and ending the war on drugs, support social safety net programs, support paid vacation/sick time, oppose organized religion in government and public schools, support action to combat the causes of climate change...

Do those sound like very conservative positions to you?

Where would you say FOX NEWS stands on those issues?

LOL

MSNBC, didn't they have a guy that talked about an Orgasim going up his leg when BarryO would open his pie hole. I can't remember that guys name but I am pretty sure he was on that channel. pretty weird for a news channel.

Even if that's true, that's one person on the entire network

You and people like nirtro and spandy gush over anything that comes from FOX, even blatant lies and pseudo scandals

Pada.

Just remember if it wasn't for fox news there would be only one side of the coin spoken and when that happens freedom of speech goes out the back door just like here at RIU if you get rolli/bucked.

See where the problem is when one side controls the boat? Then you are like a monkey on a chain or a dog on a string. I hope you continue to have all the left leaning channels you need to get your news. I really mean that.

That's not how news works. News is supposed to be objective, not pretend there are legitimate debates about things there aren't.

FOX will be gone relatively soon anyway, their audience is only getting older. All we have to do is sit back and watch the implosion

Yes, many of those do sound like conservative positions to me, and many of those issues are near and dear to Libertarians.

Fox NEWS probably has no position on those.

Fox editorialists probably oppose most of those, although not all Fox editorialists. What position do you suppose Greg Gutfeld holds on those issues? How about Juan Williams?

You do understand the difference between an editorial and news, right? Please tell me you do. Please tell me that you don't consider Bill O'Reilly to be reporting the news.

Fox slants right, and Americans love it.

Why do you think nobody watches MSNBC?

I don't know if he was MSNBC, can't remember. Chris something?. Yeah, he got a thrill up his leg every time Obama opened his mouth. He made ObamaGirl seem like a nun.

Which network has Al Sharpton as a commentator?

Its the biggest news channel known to mankind and that won't happen in your life time. I can see some of the channels you like might go broke before Fox news goes under. And that is by just a quick glance at the ratings.

I had to look it up. It looks like they canned Al and are looking to be more like Fox news.

In a move that will make conservatives and extreme right-wingers rejoice, MSNBC is reportedly going to get rid of the left-wing programming and liberal hosts in light of their recent ratings slide and therefore will remove Rev. Al Sharpton from his nightly TV show slot.

Are they?

Do you support raising the minimum wage?

Do you support staying out of the middle east?

Do you support a woman's right to choose?

Do you support gay marriage?

The support of legalizing marijuana and ending the war on drugs is a liberal idea whether or not you personally agree with it too

Do you support social safety net programs?

Do you support paid vacation/sick time off?

Do you oppose organized religion leading government policy (like W. did during his admin) and encroaching the public school system?

Do you support action to curb climate change?

Fox NEWS probably has no position on those.
You're joking, right? You don't think FOX News has any position on any of those issues?
Fox editorialists probably oppose most of those, although not all Fox editorialists. What position do you suppose Greg Gutfeld holds on those issues? How about Juan Williams?
Do you think one or two planted progressives opinions changes the slant of the entire network to "fair and balanced"? What about the other 100+ with strong conservative leanings, a la O'Reilly, Hannity and Kelly?
You do understand the difference between an editorial and news, right? Please tell me you do. Please tell me that you don't consider Bill O'Reilly to be reporting the news.
Do you believe most Americans (namely 70 years old +) understand the difference? Or do you think the tag line "FOX NEWS" might confuse them a bit?

That's a tactic the organization uses on purpose to obfuscate their obligation to journalistic integrity, the Daily Show and many other people have made that perfectly clear. If they didn't want to be viewed by their elderly audience as a legitimate news station, they wouldn't call themselves that, and they definitely wouldn't use tag lines like "fair and balanced", and their audience wouldn't post threads about "the most trusted news organization in America"...

Fox slants right, and Americans love it.
Know what else Americans love?

American Idol, Keeping up with the Kardashians, 19 Kids and Counting, Duck Dynasty, Honey Boo Boo, Jersey Shore...

Do you really feel like "what Americans love" is any real indication of the quality of the program, or are you just as big a cheerleader for all those shows too?

Why do you think nobody watches MSNBC?
Probably because most cable news is shit, including MSNBC

your neverending whining aside, dumb racist old man, what you said is simply not true.

hence why NPR has the best informed audience of all.

you are just too much of an old dumb racist to realize that truly fair and balanced news is not the type that caters to your right wing racist ideation.

why do you know so much about all the people on fox news if you don't even watch it?

woooooooooops.

the white supremacist just caught himself in yet another lie.

barely surprising anymore.

The support of legalizing marijuana and ending the war on drugs is a liberal idea whether or not you personally agree with it too

desert rat does not agree with legalizing at all, he would lose his job with the federal government if that happened.

plus, he supports rend "the main thing i've said is not to legalize it" pawl.

desert rat, besides being a hwite supremacist, is also a drug war warrior who celebrates when growers go to federal prison.

Those two are mutually different, I thought.
Generally, an undefined answer implies dividing by zero, whereas zero is zero.
It's better to be zero, IMHO.

That is a claim you're making based on what? What is the qualification for accuracy and does it account for practical value of information?
Furthermore, if you don't watch it, how do you know? One needs to be careful what they state as "fact" from a perspective of ignorance.
The only fact is 373 people watch FOX in a particular poll. That is it. There is no "accuracy", there is no "conservative".
Nevertheless, I do understand your perverse pleasure, even though I may not agree with its degree of sophistication.
Kind of like how I enjoy dragging you through your own mud to see how long you'll go before you realize you're being dragged  Instead of just "bursting bubbles" I prefer to shoot for that "AHA!" moment.
It doesn't always work, obviously, but I enjoy the exercise in strategically critical thinking. If the target also goes through the process, it winds up being a Pareto Efficient exchange, and everyone involved is better off for the effort regardless of the final equilibrium ;)

Now if only Politicians would engage in that activity...

my quandary:
Any number divided by zero is undefined but zero divided by any number is zero?

I just can't understand the concept behind such answer. Zero divided by any number is zero, but anything divided by zero is undefined. Well Mathematically speaking... 0/2 is 0 since 2x0 is 0. Practically...dividing 2 cakes between 0 people is impossible (hence undefined) (2/0).

so 2 cakes no people you still have 2 cakes..so in a women's mind this is good.

i'm gonna go with undefined:wink:
