I know this is not what your asking about , But it may be the answer your situation ... Pay close attention to the write up and the estimated yeild from this seed .

Rotating crops is what im heading for ... a few plants flowering while the others are vegging in a diffrent location with clones comming up behind them , Getting the cycle started is the tricky bit but in time you can be harvesting and have other plants comming up and ready to flower all within 2 weeks of eachother .

Hope this helps a bit , Keep us posted on what you do as i think a lot of new growers ( like myself ) can learn together :)

Noobie here just skimming thru posts :)

I have to ask about this , If you can go straight to flowering from a rooted clone ... why do people bother to veg ?... what diffrence does it make to the quality of the havested bud and how much is the yeild reduced ?.... How old are your rooted clones when you put them to flower ? ... How long do you flower befor harvest ?

Might seem like silly questions to some ... but i just cant understand why the need for vegging if you can go from a rooted clone to flowering , Your crops look like they have some nice nug's and no dence palm leaves .... do you prune or is that natural groth state ?

I must admit ... i find this idea facinating ...and seems to be quicker ..

...your veg time will determine how big your plants get. Alot of people don't wana grow big #'s of plants due to plant limits/laws and they practice topping or lst'n while their kids grow multi colas, which in turn will give you more bud per plant.
...I actually think my method makes stronger dank due to not having the smaller sucker buds. I grow colas only, and the colas are the strongest of the plant...however, I only yield 7-20 grams dry wieght per plant.
...from the day of cutting my clones, they are put into flower 3 weeks later.
...in soil, I flower most of my strains for 8 weeks, in hydro 7 weeks.

...yes, I lollipop during weeks 2-3, and remove any large fan leaves that are blocking large amounts of light @ week 5.

...when you grow form cuttings, your growth will take off where the mother plant stopped. I have found that this is idea for maximum yield when positioning your bulb horiziontally due to the light penetration. A 600 watt positioned horiziontally will only penetrate your garden's canopy approx 1 foot deep...so, I try to remove any growth deeper than 1 foot from the canopy. View my journal in my signature to get the whole idea....any questions, ask away.

If your are only going to flower 6-8plants a time and you want to yield 6-8oz per crop, then you will not be doing a perpetual grow like you stated earlier. A perpetual would start with 6-8 and then add 6-8 in two to three weeks and then add another 6-8 plants two to three weeks after that. That way you are actually harvesting 6-8 plants every two to three weeks and then putting in the replacement plants to keep your grow going for however you want to harvest every two to three weeks.

This is really interesting to me as i would like to try it ....I'm just starting my first grow now but i love trying new stuff so all this info will come in very handy in the near future :)

I actually had a Strawberry Haze mother plant I placed inbetween that 2 light set up also, here's pics and the total weight. You can see the whole grow in my journal in my sig. , and yeap, that was 42 ladies under each.

1,874 grams of Trainwreck
182 grams of Strawberry Haze

2081 + 1874 + 182 = 4137 (wet)

4137 x .25 = 1034 (dry)

1034 /28 = 36.93 ounces dry.

...that's over 1 LB, 2 - 1/2 OUNCES EACH...(600 HPS):hump:

Fuckin' nice!!! I got pretty close! Just a few ounces off! BTW, how's the smoke on that trainwreck??? I'm kind of lookin into that strain...
