The only game I can't wait for on Xbox this year is Gears 3, if I had known that the PSN would be down I would be playing Portal 2 online right now instead of complaining about it. I only care about the campaigns for Infamous 2 and Uncharted 3, if PSN goes down when those game release I wouldn't give a fuck.

Actually, the statement I made about the xbox live network being vulnerable IS A FACT. If you had knowledge of network security, you would acknowledge that no network is impenetrable, ask any IT professional...vulernerabilities exist on every network, but not every network is necessarily a target.

You gave a prime example of an opinion when you said psn has always been a joke. That is an opinion...

I'm sure if a hacker really wanted to target Microsoft it could be done, but the fact still remains that they are not the one's at the subject of this thread, it is the Playstation Network.

The only fact still remains that you can still play on Xbox Live, but since April 20th, you haven't been able to play on PSN. Too me that is a joke, nothing is funnier than remembering the days of Sony fanboys arguing that PSN being free as part of a reason to buy a PS3.

i know ur not talking to me but that had nothing to do with why i thought ps3's were better then the 360's, it was actually a bonus..im thinking of getting a 360 but i dont really want to pay for online play so i bet i will just end up waiting for psn to cum back

If you do not want to play for online play and don't mind the PSN's short comings then the PS3 is a great way to go, not only is it powerful and supports 3D but it plays blu ray movies.

But if I was a gamer who couldn't care less about blu ray or playing for online gaming then I'd get a 360, hands down

Update..sony got there computer games hacked into, it was suppose to be up yesterday but now it could be down until the beginning of june...FUUUCCCKKKK

Jesus i play online and since it went down i could care less. it seems like alot of people are ADDICTED to online play. grow up and get active guys. dont be lazy and sit on the couch all day waiting for sony.

do something in life besides play games. its not like any of you payed for PSN right? so why fuss.

pluss they are gonna hook every one up with free stuff. i would much rather have sony work this out and make it so it wont happen again rather then do a quick fix and get hacked next week and it take months to fix.

Everybody is just ripping on PS but if you think Microsoft is a fortress of impenetrable online security. You'd be wrong. Nothing is. I'm sure they're(the hackers) working on xbox as we speak... lol lot more money involved in microsoft..

Well if and when Xbox live ever goes down I hope PSN is back up by then, I don't care either way, at least I have options.

If PSN is down till June I might sell my copy of Portal 2 and get it for 360 instead
