True, but the PS3 provides a 4 ft. cable to recharge your controller. When your PS3 controller runs out of power, you'll be about 3 feet away from your tv. With Xbox, you just have to get new batteries or spend $20 on a rechargeable battery kit which comes with a cord way longer than Sony's, so even when your battery dies, you just have to plug in your recharger cable and still be about 10 feet away.
Lucky for me I have 2 Sony controllers, 3 xbox controllers and 5 Wii controllers

They both come with hard drives and I have never had any reason to own a memory card with current consoles
Yes, you do get HD with the 360, it may not be as high as blu ray, but HD after about 1080i or 720p with a nice LED or LCD tv doesn't really make too much of a difference anymore
