Planting late in the North East and Cloning Question

Yeah I'm back for growing season guys, though my name has changed a tiny bit (I'm such a newb that I forgot what alternate email I used) I'm starting a good month earlier than last year. If you knew anything about where i lived, we got an insane amount of rain all may and into june, then I dropped the ball and forgot about everything, and am just now starting to make a move. I figured if i could get them in now and they sprout into plants, a little bit of cold won't do them harm them (unlike if they are still trying to develop.) It's late and I want to try to plant some plants and try to clone a female about 3 weeks in.

1. Is that too early to clone off a female?
2. Will my plants make it, considering they've had time to turn into plants?

1. Yes, Too early. do not clone until the stems are thick enough to take advantage of rooting capabilities and you don't end up with small stunted plants.
2. Yes, It's a weed. Whether it will be stressed because of the late train on the light cycle, or not is uncertain. If all female genetics, you will still get a female plant but not as big as if it were done on time.
