Hi guys
Need a bit of help with my ph issue.
Im currently growing 7 plants in dwc, each are in 19L oxypot buckets, with 1 air stone in each, plants are around 6/7 weeks in veg from seed, using shogun nutrients A&B, silicon and katana roots with green emerald calmag.
Growing under 3 lights which are 2 x 600w dual spectrum hps and 1 gavita pro 1000w dual spectrum
Room temps range from 19c - 25c
Water temps with lights on are reaching 21-22c, usually use silver bullet in my res so i never worry about root rot, I'm going to buy some tomorrow.
Humidity 30% -50% using a ram humidifier
Ec/ppm 1.0-1.2
Ph level set at 6-6.2 and rises to 6.8/7 within 24 hours, plants look fine and are healthy drinking flourishing until recently I've noticed a few rust spots which indicates calmag deficiency hence why i started adding calmag supplement, I'm having do PH down daily, I've grown in dwc few a couple years now and have never had this issue, I've read online this is normal but im thinking it's abit of a drastic jump in ph to be "normal" ???
Am i wrong?
Roots are nice and white and strong root mass with no browning.
Any help is appreciated
