Ph in medium going up alot

I am growing autos in a mix of peatmoss and perilite. I also added a small amount of Lyme when mixing. So as for the plants they are doing pretty well. I'm am just wondering why when I add 6.4 water the runoff comes out at like 7.6. no big deal just curious

So are you running straight peatmoss with lime ?

Or a bagged medium that is peat based ?

Also take pics in normal light not under blurple.
