Our First Time Growing

Yes, cool stoner grower chicks are rare, lol.:peace:

Amen to that, sistah. I just chose the name Joe Buck 'cause I'd just seen him play and I love the name. My husband is supportive of my growing but he doesn't have a green thumb AT ALL, so the research, the potting, the maintaining of the plants is all up to me - but so is the rest of the garden, so no shock there.

Good luck w/ your first grow Chickeeta! :weed:

Thanks alot we could use the luck LOL

Hey everybody, thought we'd share some new pics of our plants. Our outdoor seems to be doing great. Our indoor doesn't look like it has grown much, and it still looks good. But we did notice some mites in the dirt. Our indoor plant is being grown in a closet with just a cfl. Well here are the pics.

Ok great can you tell me what FIM is as well???

FIM, stands for "fuck i missed" which apparently was when someone was trying to pinch the tops and missed and cut too much off, turned out it was a successful technique. I would leave them outside unless you have a greenhouse or conservatory. Also bring them in if you hear there could be a frost. They will start to flower when your daylight hours go down to 12 or 13 hours. Check the sunrise sunset times.
good luck!!

you should def. get alot more gfl's if thats what your going for untill you get a HPS of MH light.

We don't want to go the MH or HPS light route. We just want something simple and its for only one plant. We saw it on youtube that you can grow with cfl so thats what we are trying as its very simple, and I think alot safer. We will just see what happens.

yeah.

i ment to say you would need alot more then just one CFL.

my friend Monkee has a grow with cfls i will post the lunk in a min.

Ya we are going to add another light later tonight. Are you supposed to use the dull or shiny side of the tin foil?

Tin Foil..is usually a big NO NO.

it can cause hot spots that focus on one part of the plant and can/will burn it.

i would use Mylar..and a cheep version of that is the inside of a PatatoChip Bag.

use flat white paint .. if u can't get mylar .. its not as good as mylar but its better than foil

mylar you can usually get at any hydroponics store. even places online. just use a search engine to look it up.

uh. depends on how much you need. i can range from 20$ a roll - to about 50$ a roll.

but well worth it. exp. if using CFL's the more light you can get too the plant the better.
