Outdoor grow first experience 2024

welcome to my first marijuana grow ever. In the following, I will reveal to you how and what I imagined and all other important information.

  1. Seed type: Unknown (as well as gender) Start: March 8 - March 12 CET.
  2. Soil type: Ordinary flower soil (pH 6.5)

I put 13 seeds to germinate and all 13 sprouted. 9 of them have broken through or are in the "breakthrough" for their first leaflets, while the other 4 have sprouts from 1 to 3 mm.

Since I don't know the sex or the seeds are not feminized, I will not invest large amounts of money or almost nothing.

The temperatures outside are currently from 7 degrees Celsius in the morning to 18 degrees Celsius, and according to the forecast, they will rise from the end of the week.

My intention is to keep them in a pot until the end of this month or the beginning of next, then transplant them into slightly larger pots until it is time to transplant them to a specific site. At the moment, the knocked out leaves are going a little sideways, but I guess the problem was in the light and we solved that today! I appreciate criticism and advice!

This is progress after posting the topic! P.S. I may ask stupid questions, but advice and answers would be welcome.

○ After approximately how long do I transplant the plants into smaller pots, i.e. larger than the cups they are in now, before they end up on the site?

○ After transplanting into those pots, when they can start giving the necessary "food" (fertilizer, etc.)
○ How much water do they need now and after transplanting?

In the past 3-4 days I can see the difference in the plant and I am positively "surprised". The plants grew taller, straightened up, showed the first pair of leaves, and the second row of leaves that are just coming out is also visible.

You’ve got a little ways to go yet. When they start lookin’ like this, you can start thinking about moving. Just don’t love ‘em to death ;)

The road is long, and basically, for the reason of not killing the plants with water, I asked how much and when should I give them water, that is, how often? And the method from a cup to a smaller pot so that the root would spread for the development of the plant, and after a certain time the plants can go to the place that was determined for them?

I would do some reading and/or check out some YouTube videos about gardening in general, not specific to Marijuana, for tips. Pot forums sometimes have a lot of non science based advice, AKA bro science. Which is not to say that you shouldn't go to forums for advice, there is a huge amount of great advice on here from super knowledgable people. But, there is also a lot of misguided opinions from folks who would struggle to grow a tomato to maturity.
It helps to learn the basics of horticulture from sources that are not specific to pot in the beginning, and then you can better perceive what is BS advice or not.
Forums are a great resource for experiences with specific strains I wouldn't rely on them, solely, for advice on basic horticultural questions. The same techniques for growing a petunia or a zucchini apply to growing good Cannabis.

The plants will go outside, of course, when the conditions are right for it (there is a strong wind blowing at the moment), from Friday the temperatures will go from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. The time is Central European, sunrise is around 6 am, sunset is at 7:20 pm.

Thanks for the recommendation for the site, so I have 12 hours of daylight, and I've made a good judgment about it! This is daylight for today :

I don't think I will throw mine out too soon, the climate is Mediterranean, which will be great for these 4 autoflowers!

By the way, I keep a diary on a European or Balkan forum, I think I already know some necessary things. In other words, I follow completed diaries, keep mine open with progress, use foreign forums just to absorb as much as possible. but as far as the cultivation of some vegetables is concerned, for example, tomatoes, beans, green beans, etc., I think I will succeed in my intention!

I got rid of most of the stems of unknown identity and left only 3 photoperiod ones, we will go to the site with them when the time comes and wait for them to show the sex.
