Ok so we are thinking of tieing down our biggest plant as she is getting really tall and we need it to be more secretive LOL. Any suggestions on how to do it and if its okay to do it now we already tried to bend it and it seems fine, but we just want to make sure we are not going to wreck her. Thanks for the advice

ok so we did that, but we tied down the main stock and the 2 main branches to spread out. that should be fine right?

That sounds good,in a few days you'll probably want to adjust the twine or whatever you used and tie her down some more.

my buddy told me to use the fan leaves to tie down your plant as they are just always there

Well here's the pictures of the tie down. The last pic we are wanting to know if that looks like a pistol or if it's gonna be a new leaf coming up. As up close it looks like a pistol and there is another one on the other side.

i dunno the leaves? im pretty sure they have no growth around them, they are what the plant uses to eat i think
my buddy calls them fan leaves

Thanks and yes we are thinking we are going to keep her tied down as we don't want her to get higher than the fence as we live in the city.

yea pretty much, anyways the idea is that it doesnt matter to much if they die/break off on accident, where as snapping your stock if u push to far....

ok fan leaves are the first leaves to come out .. like when ur plant is first starting to grow .. its those leaves.. and tie job looks good .. expect your plants to respond to the tying in like 4-16 hrs .. as the new growth from the top of the plants grows you'll need to keeping tying it down .. you'll see what i mean tomorrow and/or the next day
