If you're in the PNW and you're plants are not covered you better do something. Another week of rain and low temperatures. I can smell the bud rot.
I'm fortunate to have a greenhouse to keep mine out of the rain. Ciskei in the back and and a couple F2's of a Panama/Pakistani Chitral Kush cross I made. They were also also a reveg that I stuck outside in the spring after sexing and not having room in the flower tent. I have to say, that Ocean Forest soil can keep a plant going. They're in 1 1/2 gallon pots and were watered with the hose all summer. No nutrients which is why they have yellow leaves. I've since given them a good feeding and despite my aversion to defoliating I've cleaned them up considerably due to them being outside. Even though they're in a greenhouse it's not heated and it just keeps them dry it doesn't have much impact on humidity or temperature except during the day if the sun is out. I cleaned up the greenhouse as well getting rid of spiders and such. I didn't realize how many pots and trays I had.
Tomato weighed 17.53 oz. It's a beefsteak variety called "Delicious". I plan on growing it again next year. I have BIG hands but short fat fingers. Which sucks because I played the Violin when I was much younger and bought one a year or so ago but can't play it because my fingers are too damn fat. Can't play the guitar either because of my fingers. I'm thinking of buying a Cello.
