One seed created multiple plants

So I had a bunch of seeds saved up in an attempt to grow just in case the free stuff stopped flowing. And low and behold I no longer can get my green for free.

I have done a lot of research but have no experience. I figured that out of my seeds, I'd get probably a 2 or 3 plants that sprouted. I was wrong. 14 plants have sprouted.

4 of the plants come from only 2 seeds. W-T-F? How do I care for them? Should I separate them now or later? Now that the seeds have germinated, I plan on moving them to a small space as they would not prosper outside in this weather. I'm guessing I should separate them ASAP, but I don't want to stress out such young plants.

My first plant a few weeks ago, as a trial basis ended in failure when I moved it improperly.

number one each seedling should be in its own soil container so you dont destroy roots from trying to remove second is that pic from one seed cause thats rather odd

I wasn't prepared for them to grow. I left them in a bathroom of a small trailer on our property and forgot about them for 3 days. I was looking for a sawzall charger I'd left in the bathroom when I noticed them. I plan on separating them tonight and going to walmart tomorrow and getting additional lamps and CFLs.

Update: I transplanted all plants. And in the process of cleaning the area, the whole bin with the plants fell over. So I hurried up and got them in their new home. None of the root balls were damaged at all so they all seem to have survived. I also sprayed the root balls with water and a hint of urine. Then I played classical music to them the whole night. A day later, they are pictured below.

The siamese twin plant's rootballs were so deeply intertwined that I did not even bother to split them up. I'll just see what becomes of them, and cut any plants that are weak later on.

Subbed. You're on the case there Marktell! I've seen eggs with double yolks, but never the herb.
Save/breed seeds...you could be on to something ;)

I was so pleased to see someone giving piss, rather than taking the piss I missed that. (Do people "take the piss" in the US??))
Yeh, too young for nutes as yet

Unfortunately with limited growing space, I'm going to kill the males. I hate having to kill any of my kids. I'm starting to get attached to them. Every day I wake up they seem to have exploded in growth. My worst case scenario is actually that most of them are females. It'll be hard to kill them off because most of them are very strong.

How would you achieve a big yield in an overcrowded area? Overcrowding reduces the light each plant gets and reduces your yield, That said... He already said he has them in a small space and will need to get rid of some due to the space requirement.

To the OP: I don't think they should be 2 in 1 pot it'll make it much harder for you... they will end up like your "twins". If you get a male seperate it and put it in a room all by itself and collect the pollen? :)

The slight droopiness and yellow leaves at the bottom comes from what I call stoner's neglect. I get so high I forget I have the plants and they go 2 to 3 days without watering lol

But now, seeing as how my last bit of free weed is gone and I'm not sure when I'll get more, I won't be as high. And I will remember.

The twins are doing well. Actually all the plants are doing great. There was one that just didn't make it though, but I never expected it to. It never grew! At all! Stayed short with 2 leaves and finally started to yellow. If you look closely, you can see it in the front middle pot, that small yellow foliage.

I added some more dirt. Can't wait until they pre-flower so I can kill off some of them and devote resources to the strong females. I plan on repotting the 3 strongest females in buckets and just leaving them in the small spare bathroom out of the cabinet. Seeing as how I've prevented my boyfriend from going in there with clever subterfuge for over a month (saw a snake back there, killed a brown recluse, hornets nest hun, etc) , I think I can keep them out in the open now, but the space is still small so only 3.

ORRRR I might plant them outside. The weather here has been so mild. Thanks to global warming we don't really see winters anymore. YAY for humanity!!! I've also thought about digging a small underground grow room out in the woods.
