Obama all the way, It takes balls for someone to step up and say they'll clean up the shit that Bush has left behind...
And I think the U.S has alot more than "obama is not gonna let us smoke" to worry about right now.

Everyone has their right to their opinion but when you start calling all southerners rednecks or ignorant, etc., you're just showing what a total narrow minded racist you really are. I can joke about Cali and there are a BUNCH of weirdos there, but do I think or say that they are ALL a bunch of pinko fudge packing left wing commie bastards? No. The issue with Obama is not that he's black; he's NOT black; his mother was white and that makes him just as much white as black. Half honkey, all donkey, got it? I couldn't care less if he's black, pink or purple as long as he does a better job then bush. Oh fuck, I just left something in the toilet that could do a better job than bush. What about all the other elections? Were things not the exact same as they were in this election? But nobody was able to play the damn race card. Those elections were not about race and this one wasn't either. Just because someone voted for the other ticket doesn't mean they were racist, there are libertarians and republicans and that sure as hell doesn't make us racist and it's purely a racist thing to make it so over this bullshit. Johnny Cochran is dead and Jesse Jackson is a has been poser; let it go man.

Hell yea dude, Ron Paul is the man.... He'd talk circle's around McCain and Obama he's so much damn smarter than both of them put together.... Watch a youtube video where he breaks down economics and interest rates for Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve and basically makes one of the best economic minds out there look like a child in school.

Ron Paul is a Republican but he supports either decriminalizing weed or legalizing small amounts, I can't remember but he's seriously about the smartest damn politician out there....

And about the national debt, we're just going to get in deeper b/c a dem in office means a bigger federal gov't and he's got a trillion dollars in new gov't spending already planned out, it was written into the democratic national convention platform if you want to read up on it, how we ever going to pay back our national debt when we're spending money we don't have??? print more??? that just makes it worth less...

If anyone cares to discuss economics with me feel free as I'm a financial advisor and would love to enlighten you how the Clinton Administration caused the real estate bubble and the credit crunch and the reason our economy is where it's at stems from the policies put in place by the Clinton Administration....

If you can study and pass a Series 7 stockbroker exam then I'll do your job for you for a week and give you the paycheck, then you'll see that although my job isn't manual labor, it isn't easy... Don't have animosity towards those of us that don't have to break our back in manual labor to make our paycheck, I spent a lot of time and money in college to become as intelligent and knowledgeable as I am in my job field so I didn't have to work in a factory or do manual labor. My job is more stressful than yours b/c I got 5 million dollars of other people's money under management and the economy sucks, yet they still expect me to make them money... You go work from 9-5 probably, I do too and I have clients calling me til 9 at night wanting to talk about their investments....


I'll put money that I could do your job, maybe need a few days training depending on what it is but I bet I could do it... I doubt you could go around and get people to buy life insurance or invest money with you just off the knowledge you have...

Why don't you just refuse to pay back your national debt?

What are they going to do? reposses your country?

Does your country have enough food for everyone.....?
Does your country have enough shelter for everyone.....?
Does your country have enough raw materials....?
Does you country have enough teachers/doctors/farmers/etc......?

Is there anything America needs but doesn't have?....except 'Money' that is.

i get what you mean but the tragedy is only 1% of this country is secure.
in a country were we DO have more than enough we still have the highest rate of childhood poverty in industrialized nations.
Whats that about?

Thats the cool thing about this election and Obama .....

we actually lived up to what America is actually supposed to represent this time .

instead of declaring victory in the midst of chaos.

That may be the case in your circle of friends but I live in Cincy right on the Kentucky border and I travel to KY and Tennessee a lot for camping where there are a lot of rednecks, hillbillys and crackers. I would say most rednecks and crackers live in the southern states which were part of the confederacy and if you look at an electoral map, McCain won ever state that was in the confederacy.... On top of that, most hunters, outdoorsman and gun enthusiasts voted against Obama simply for his overwhelming desire to diminish and revoke the 2nd amendment... The "Obama is pro-gun" commercials had me rolling on the floor, he's voted for anti-gun legislation every single time and he expects us to believe he's Pro-Gun?!?!?! LOL rednecks, hillbillys and crackers may be dumb but they're not blind...

I'm just worried were handing over a country in trouble to a man who's never been in charge of anything... Everyone on here talks about Obama and the change he'll bring, PLEASE, someone enlighten me to one thing he's changed or reformed since he got into politics..... anyone, anyone??? Oh you can't think of an example?? Maybe he's all talk.
I posed this question to an elementary teacher that was for Obama and she said he cleaned up Chicago.... LOL, wow did I laugh, the murder rate has skyrocketed there since he took office!!!!! Needless to say she didn't have anything to say after I enlightened her...

I'll give this guy a fair go, he's very charismatic and a great speaker but guess what, so was Hitler, so I'm just gonna sit back and see what happens but I'm surely not going to be drinking the kool-aid anytime soon.

I keep hoping I will wake up and it was just a nightmare that he won but its still a nightmare. He isnt a communist but a socialist wanna be with horrible ideas and the biggest lines of bullshit ever to come from a political figure.First lets get the whole african american part out the way as thats irrelavant. Im so sad it looks so many dummies voted for him cuz he is black and those who voted against him because he is black all those who based thier vote on that shouldnt be allowed to vote ever again as they are dipshits.Now those who know this senator know the crap he pulled in the state and the nonsense promises he can not keep so I have no idea how anyone who has any concept of economics or how the economhy works could vote for this nut.He isnt even in office yet and has caused a giant loss of jobs and cause huge cost increases to the working man and hasnt even got to DC yet.No one said Bush was perfect but OBama? Really? Do you REALLY think all this would happen the 4 years Obama is in office? I mean really if his plan doesn't work these four years then the next President will change it. I mean it took a good while for the economy to get where it is. It wasn't overnight and it did not START when Bush took office.

Edit: All this talk about sharing or not sharing wealth reminds me of the Alltel My Circle commercials. Mainly the one where they call Chad a ding dong.

i think this guy is so corrupt and is a smooth talker so anybody with a decievable mind was pursuaded to vote for a guy whos cousin was arrested for being an illegal immigrant and also who sat in a church for 20 years listening to a man preach against the white man. he doesn't even have a birth certificate for crying out loud. :leaf:

I was in Cal visiting in 02 when the feds raided all the med supply "shops" and from the conversations I was having with friends and people I meet up with,,everyone seemed to think that since 9/11 esp all these laws have been created to oppress the powerless... and deny people basic human rights
What are you afraid of ??? all this stuff has already happened...surely it can only get better from here..???? so we're all going to have to toughen up to deal with the crisis brought about by credit and greed...
I think we can all do this :hump: and be better people for it
