Nitrogen toxicity - lockout

So you never used it you just made sure it worked. So you have one but only tested it to see if it worked then what was the point of buying it lol, too see if it worked? Did you run even a cycle in it? You mean to tell me you hooked it into your system turned it on and unhooked it? Because that's what I am hearing. One guy says it's to expensive, the other guy bought one hooked it up and unhooked it and now it's collecting dust, and another one can't afford the power is there where we are at? I don't care to read back to see who said what but I heard all 3 in this conversation.
Just to be clear, my original intention was to run rdwc. So I collected everything I needed, and like you, I read I needed a chiller. So I bought it. I set up rdwc system, including chiller. Before I started a run, I decided I could do the same with one bucket as I could with 4, in a 3x3. I disassembled the system, and just ran 1 bucket. No chiller, just bleach. I learned that the chiller wasn't needed unless it was crazy high temps. I didn't need it for pathogens. That's what the bleach was for. Bleach ended up being cheaper than power to run a chiller. I never said I couldn't afford to run it, but why run it and waste more money, like I have on other shit that I was told "I needed", but didn't really need?

You wanna run a chiller? By all means, run it, but don't try and act like you absolutely need it to grow optimally. You don't, and you're just good make other new growers believe that they will have to have one.

You mean chlorine, not bleach right?

I have a 5 plant limit.
Here we can have 6 plants but only 3 can be flowering. Up to 12 total per household and only 6 flowering. For being one of the first states to legalize it our laws are still jacked up.

The 2 first states that legalized recreational weed is the one I live in now and my home state. It all makes sense now, :eyesmoke:

Ours suck for pheno hunting, but other than that I'm good with what I got. It's all personal, and I mostly smoke alone, so I don't need to grow a lot.

Oh ya. I'm not complaining. The first time I grew I started to get a little paranoid at the end when friends started telling more friends and so on. But I felt it was my duty as a stoner to at least grow once. If everyone did they couldn't lock us all up was my philosophy, :joint:.

Switched over to bloom nutes today gave her 520ppm. I think the shot of epsom salts did her some good and shes looking OK, a bit gangly for my liking but Im a sativa guy so thats par for the course i guess.

does the bloom nutes have more Mg than veg nutes? if not, i would just start using 1 gram of epsom per gallon for the rest of the way.

and resist the urge to keep bumping your feed up!!!!! 520ppm is plenty of nutes

Ok cheers man, the Canna Aqua is 4-4-11 with 2% Mg according to the datasheets. Is that enough?

how much Ca? you normally want at least 2:1 Ca/Mg up to 4:1

since switching to LED, i pretty much always use 1g/gal . it's not a lot of Mg and you also get Sulfur which helps with smells
Ca 2.4% Mg 2%. You think im better off using the epsom salts rather than CalMag?
