ok here are the babies movin into adulthood lookin all ziggy stardust shiny and shit...24hrs of darkness then to 12/12..every thing was cleaned and sterilized and put back into use..filled the rez(the bubbly goodness in the pic)with 60ml each gmb, 120ml hydrogaurd, 20grms budblood, 5ml st,ec was .8 leavin it low for 2 days just so everything getts rollin smooth.phd to 5.7..shweeeewww time to kick back with some ssh and some scissor hash..perfect sunday....

Hey bro nice plants.... WTF... arent you growing in a dr120?... is it a street version or something??... why do you hang emergency blankets inside of that dr120?...

the coating on the inside is not for reflectivity as much as it is for refracting the heat on the inside(infared blocker)it is more like a thermasheild instead of mylar..i can say that the emergency blankets really increased the reflectivity of the light..i think the other version is just like silver on the inside..

wow, I never knew it had a problem I was under the impression that it was 97% reflective... I get growth all the way at the bottom of my plant no problem.... have you done tests with light meter or is this just your thinking...there are those that say the same thing about the blanket... I have used it...hell still have it installed in the veg cabinet...they say it just traps heat.... but if you have done test with the light meter...

this is my test run actually, no light meter test.just eyeballin it and knowing that the type film they use in the dr construction is very reflective but is primarily for thermsheild..justhad these things layin around was no prob to hang em so just trying.
it deffinately looks more reflective we will see.no harm no foul aye....
what type of bulb are you using..?
mine is a sylvania i am not to happy with it the restart time is terrible

No harm... i use the cheap sylvania from homedepot.. then i add 4 26 watt cfls (blue) to give it that other spectrum they need. It works great and i dont have to buy 100$ bulbs...lol.. I have seena major increase in production by doing this and i recommend it to everyone.... people do tell me i have cfls growing out of my HID... lol...

I dont understand what you mean by restart time.... starting HID when they are hot..(basically turning them off and then back on) will damage the bulb... It should only come on 1 then tunr off after 12 hrs and then come back on after 12 hrs... I dont unsertand what you mean by restart bro...

if the power goes out for instance.during a storm..the electricity may flicker on and off this cut the light off.. on my hortilux bulbs it only takes 5 min to cool down and restart..the sylvania wich is a greenhouse bulb.not like the standard,take about 2hrs to restart.. i am replacing it next time around anyway..

or do you just notice it dimmer?... that did happen to me on 1 bulb and the bitch never got bright enough again... I bough a new 12 dollar one..lol... i have been thinking about the hortilux... but like i said.. something that needs to be replaced every 6 months costing close to 100 dollars... fuck that.. i dont sell and this is doing great ...lol..

I dont get allot of power outs with storms here... but... your making me think of a small UPS system for the lights... That would correct this problem.

man if you havent noticed a problem with your bulb i wouldnt worry with it,
yeah same here with the dont sell and all ..all expensis are mine to bear..but i think you should only replace your bulb once a year..

Btw.. How much difference does it really make on the strain, from grower to grower?.. Like.. the high is pretty much the same right? no matter how you really grow it.

the way i see it is if it is greenhouse ssh and you and i grow it and bring it to maturity in a fairly healthy manner then they should be the same or at least close....

man i dont think my yeilds would be right my ssh plants were tortured in the beginning but even at that i got 34 grams of the last one at 1 meter, now i trimed and bent and worked to keep it at 1 meter.,
the ones before in larger pots gave about 50 grams..at 1.5 meters.
these have got to be worst case senarios because i really fucked em the first go round..
now i am using hids not cffs that may make a diff , i dont know i have seen some amazing results with cffs
