id love to crack beans from the 70s be great think of the genetics they had then..proper buds..
Yeah, as if that would hold up in court or mean diddly squat. Beans sitting on a shelf for a few years doesn't affect their viability unless they sit there for over 10 years or so. I've read of people on here that cracked beans from the 70's!

Have you by chance tried their Jock Horror or AK48? If so, what do you think of them? Thinkin bout tryin one or the other. Their WW are doin awesome for me.
I like the "high" versus "couchlock".;-):leaf:
I'm actually growing a Jock Horror right now. I ordered the regular seeds because I am wanting to do a seed run with them. Out of 4 seeds, only 1 sprouted. I'm also growing Pure Power Plant, Ice and Dr. Greenthumb's Iranian G13. The Ice and Jock Horror are very nute sensitive but the PPP's take everything I give them and still look amazing. They are also very short with a very close internodal structure (loving that!). I'm flushing the Ice and Jock this morning; I've been getting some nute burn. I thought it was Mg deficiency at first because the veins were still green but a good dose of epsom salts didn't seem to do anything so I'm taking the usual precaution and "rebooting and not nuting" (TM). :)

Thanks for the info. I try to sort through the good & bad--Kev is great an helped me alot & Kitty. I'm just starting my 2nd closet grow with the WW fems. If you got JH seeds from Nirvana--they will make good.
I'm not good on all the fert.--so much of everything! Hope this don't get me in trouble but I ordered this for a couple of my WW. Have you or anyone tried it?:-?bongsmilie From what I read it may be kinda new product.

We sell our seeds for souvenir purposes only and for storage in-case the laws change. We at ‘The Attitude’ are here to help, but we do have our restrictions. We CANNOT, and WILL NOT discuss germination / yields / THC levels (etc) of seeds, as it is ILLEGAL to germinate seeds and sell them for germination purposes in the United Kingdom and we cannot be seen to be promoting this. Unfortunately, E-mails may be ignored and remain unanswered if questions relate to the above and you may be refused a sale should you persist in requesting further information.

I'm gonna guess that if you have germination problems and you talk to them about it they will not help you out.

You just need to know how to talk around the subject so what you say is clear but without ever mentioning an attempt to germinate. Since it is illegal to germinate the seeds they sell they could be closed down and possibly arrested and they will not risk that.

But if you've ever watched "The Sopranos" or "Goodfellas" you have to have some idea of what I mean. They would talk like ... did you take care of the guy with the thing, you know, pork chop boy, not our friend, a friend of our friend? They said enough to know who and what they were talking about but never say enough where it could be used as evidence if overheard or taped.

I've never had germination issues with seeds from Attitude but two friends did and Attitude would not discuss it. I told them to say something like....... the novelty item purchased on such and such a date, manufactured by (breeders name) had a manufacturers defect. I have purchased the same novelty item in the past and are fully aware of how to operate it and never had any problems in the past and I did the exact same thing this time but it failed to work. There was clearly a defect in the manufacturing.

Both said something along those lines and both received new seeds.

You're not just dealing with differing company policies. You are dealing with differing legalities and illegalities and you just have to be able to talk our way around the illegal part.

Plus it's worth the risk of possibly some day being stuck with some beans that will not germ and will not be replaced to be able to pick from the quality breeders gear that Attitude offers. Nirvana is crap, it's Wal-Mart grade genetics at best. Even if there is some slight gamble dealing with Attitude it is a smart gamble to take unless you're ordering Green House Seeds products or from one of the few other low quality breeders Attitude offers.

Some of their strains are better than some of the cannabis cup winners strains, but I guess you would have to actually grow them to know. I'll never waste my money on Greenhouse's super lemon haze again, or on several strains of kush from some of the "respected" breeders. If you feel better about growing seeds that cost $20 each, go for it; personally I think it's ripping people off.

i used to use 2 ziplocks and put them in ball jars. now i just use 2 zip locks!
when i first started breeding, i kept rice in the bags too. some years later, i read something that postulated that the rice could dry out the seeds so much that they won't pop (as opposed to just keeping the area dry). it was convincing enough for me to stop the practice and clean out the rice in most of my seed bags. of the strains i've grown out from the 90s, only one had a terrible ratio. out of 15 seedlings, 2 popped.
I keep the seeds sealed in their own containers separate from the rice

What breeders do you suggest hot shot?

It's really hard to compare the 2 .. Attitude is a seed bank, nirvana is a breeding seed company who only sells there own seeds... Ive never had a problem with attitude and have bought nirvana seeds through attitude. In the US, we are limited who we buy seeds from, hence the reason we don't order directly from the breeder (besides nirvana, most reputable breeder and a few others). Attitude and nirvana are both very reputable companies, nirvana will replace your seeds directly if you have a germination problem because they are the breeder of there seeds.. A trick with attitude is when phoning or emailing them about your seeds not popping, simply fib and tell them you recieved them and they were smashed, cracked, however you want to say it. 9 out of 10 times they will gladly reship you new ones...

I ordered from Nirvana and got a customs letter instead. Emailed "Alice" (nirvana support), they said they would try to reship. Got nothing else, no new letter, nada.

Ordered from Attitude, they showed up, no problem. I ordered Nirvana snow white both times. Attitude gets my vote, but I only have the 2 orders under my belt so far.

If you talk to Alice she will make it right! Nirvana has the best customer service but not the best genetics! Attitude's customer service sucks SHIT! I ordered some beans from them that were quite pricey in my opinion DNA genetics beans that were $96 for six X 2. Well I grew them out and it was nowhere near the pic or discription on the Tude. Trust me I know the pic's on the tude are of plants grown in optimal conditions but I expect them to somewhat represent the pic a lil! And about 50% of the adults hermied on me. So I mailed the Tude about my concerns and dissapointments and they refered me to the breeder.

Well the breader told me unless I live in the Netherlands they can't ship to me! :wall: they have it setup so they don't have to be accountable for their shitty genetics!

Nirvana will replace beans if you have problems with them in any way! The tude you can get different and better genetics you just have to sort through 1000 different strains/breeders to find good genetics.

My recomindation is Sanies! He has great customer service and also some really good genetics! Don't waist time with some shitty promo from the tude, just go to sannies and you will be happy! Nirvana and Sannies have comperable prices and also great customer service but IMO Sannies has an edge over Nirvana in genetics. I order from Sannies or Nirvana, and I only will go to the Tude if I find a strain that I cant find anywhere else! But when I order from the Tude I know that what I get is what I get, don't waist your time contacting them!

i bought stuff from nirvana but never got the beans. 70bucks down the drain. I've also bought from attitude and had every one show up exactly 7 days after i placed my order. Guaranteed of course, it's like insurance Every seed i got from them was still in original packing and had good to really good plants from them, the freebies though may or may not be good plants. i pay with gift cards and they go through pretty quick

So there is nothing wrong with the seeds at Attitude apparently but if i may ask....

Do you have a personal preference for Attitude or Nirvana or maybe a different co. ? If i do decide to stay with Attitude i know Nirvana is well respected and Dinafem seems ok but what are the GOOD brands on that site. I looked up TGA and something else but they had no fem. seeds.

I'm making myself stress out.
Big Buddha and DNA Genetics have some good shit.

Actually, it would hold up in court every day. That is the difference between free speech and conspiracy in the eyes of the law. I'm not saying it's logical, but legally correct.

If your example of a Cup winner is Green House Seeds Super Lemon Haze or any Cup winner in the last 5 or 6 years I could agree with you. In the past Cups were won by merit and merit alone. Those days are long gone and winning a Cup is nothing more than having a marketing edge on other breeders for a year. It is not proof of something being the best anymore.

But when compared to the best breeders lines, regardless of a Cup or Cups being won or not, Nirvana is crap.

I use both seeds banks regularly. Attitude has a great selection, so so price, so so freebies, fast shipping. So i order my TGA seeds from because they are somewhat hard to find. If you have a problem with your shipment or seeds I tend to think you are pretty much screwed. "Contact Breeder".. oh whatever Attitude. Nirvana has so so selection. ridiculously awesome prices, replaced stuff no questions asked for me, and ship so incredibly fast I swear they are shipping 2nd day air or something. I use both, I prefer Nirvana.
