nirvana vs. Attitude

i have just spent some time reading that if you have ANY problems including germination that they will replace your seeds no questions asked. Then i read on Attitude that if you want to make a return that everything has to be unopened and in it's original condition.

The only reason i went with ATTITUDE was the selection. i like Nirvana, Dinafem and Sweet seeds. Now i've read how some of those seeds sit for years.

if this is the way it is it looks like Nirvana has a new customer.
Has anyone here successfully return bad beans to Attitude and have them replaced?

I had a shipment never arrive. Attitude did reship because I bought guaranteed shipping. I ended up getting both shipments eventually which was sweet. Never had to return beans though.

no but i printed an attitude order form, filled it out and sent it and $300 or so to nirvana. i contacted attitude 3 times to ask if they had received my money yet! that poor lady! lol

about 3 weeks after sending my money to nirvana, i got the money back (at my safe address) with a note saying they were not attitude seeds. it would have been nice if they would have emailed me but at least i got the money order back!

i grow some decent genetics!

I always use attitude...love the tracking numbers! I always know what day to look for the mail. Far as returns....?? I had barney farm tangerine dream NOT pop for me, I told the attitude, they told me to get hold of barneys farm.....seems lots of people had an issue with that strain, I did get one out of 5 beans to pop so I just cloned her, but I don't like, or use Barneys any more just for that reason.

so does Attitude do full replacements or no? it sounds like they pawn you off over to the breeder. if so why not just order from the breeder?
the good thing about attitude is a big selection and the freebies. But if seeds don't sprout i want a replacement or refund.

yeah, i read that. the funny thing is that in every 'strain profile' they speak openly and specifically about yields, THC/CBD percentages, expected growth time, whether or not it's for a novice or an advanced grower, what strains were crossed (which means they are in some way involved with germination at some level even if just buying from a breeder), what characteristics it should have when GERMINATED and grown to flower. So it is OK to talk about it on their site even though they "cannot be seen promoting this", it's just not OK to converse directly. WHAT A CROCK.... a funny crock, ha

Yeah, as if that would hold up in court or mean diddly squat. Beans sitting on a shelf for a few years doesn't affect their viability unless they sit there for over 10 years or so. I've read of people on here that cracked beans from the 70's!

Do you have a personal preference for Attitude or Nirvana or maybe a different co. ? If i do decide to stay with Attitude i know Nirvana is well respected and Dinafem seems ok but what are the GOOD brands on that site. I looked up TGA and something else but they had no fem. seeds.

I'm making myself stress out.

DNA and Resera Privada (same company) have some great strains. My femmed chocolope all germed and grew great.

Comparing Attitude and Nirvana is a bit unfair - kind of like comparing BestBuy and Dell. Best Buy sells everything and makes nothing, Dell makes and sells only Dells. If you buy a Dell at Best Buy and then have a question regarding the Dell motherboard - Best Buy is going to direct you to Dell. Not to mention Nirvana sells seeds and The Attitude sells souvenirs.

I but from both but Gastanker makes a great comparison with Dell and Best Buy. The Doc has some of the very best but if I had it to do over again, I would start off with seeds from Nirvana (PPP or Ice) because if you kill the plants you're out a lot less. BTW, the PPP seems to be very easy to grow.

NIRVANA ROCKS!!!! This was my 1st order from them:

11/6--ordered 5 White Widow fem.seeds
11/12--got order--I'm in US deep South
11/12--germed 3 seeds--saved 2 for later
11/14--3 babies cracked (paper towel/plates)--put in root starters & put in propog under light
11/15--3 babies sprouted within 4 hrs. of each other
11/16--2 leaves on 2 babies--2 leaves on other next day
11/18--they have 4 leaves & are about 2 1/2 in. tall

If can get any better plz let me know! I will forever be a Nirvana customer. I had a couple prob. (my fault) trying to order, but was fixed by support very fast. These people stand behind everything they say they do.They don't track orders so can't be traced back.

i've kept seeds in the fridge since the early 90s. i just popped some afghani #1/skunk #1 seeds that i made back in the mid 90s. 9 out of 10 popped. the fridge is your friend!

Nirvana gives Freebies too! But if seeds don't sprout i want a replacement or refund--they take care of their customers. I read lots of comments before I ordered.

Gotta admit the feedback section of Nirvana sold me along with the ability to order only 5 seeds. I felt for a first buy and grow these options along with their "we'll make it right" policy made me go with them. I bought an indoor mix of 5 seeds for like $45 US all in. I mean if I get them and they sprout then I gotta be happy price wise but we will see on that. Also the grouping and shopping method on that site is so user friendly. I mean indoor, outdoor, feminized, how did they work out for you, all very organized and accesible.

Go to Nirvana an read the comments--I also posted a comment here about my order from Nirvana--can't go wrong with them!

I'm ignorant to "the Doc". I just keep hearing great stuff about those strains. have you tried their Master Kush, snow white, swiss cheese or blackberry? or what other strains from there would you recommend for a newb who is starting to get it down finally. I've learned a lot. I have some seed but if these seeds are as have been described to me I'm sure I can hit a home run on that crop!!
