Hey all!
Sorry I have been gone for so long.
So here we are 10 days later and the growth has been explosive! I must say that one makor lesson that I learned is that plants do NOT like to be shocked. For every shock event, you can be penalized 1 to 2 weeks of growth.
Transplanting does not seem to be that bad if you can keep root damage to a minimum but the heat/light stress can be really bad as it was in my case.
Currently I am feeding them GH's Floranova and it seems to be working okay. Based on reccomendations from people here as well as people from my local hydro store I will be switching to Botanicare's Pure Blend Grow while supplementing that with Liquid Karma and CAL-MAG.
I would like to ask you all if the following is true:
My hydro guy told me not to add too much CAL-MAG (if at all) because it sometimes has the habit of binding with other nutriets in the other fertilizers and that it can possibly cause, "nutrient lock-up".
Since I change my resivoirs weekly, I plan on adding CAL-MAG near the end of the week (maybe the last day or two) after the plants have absorbed a lot of the available nutrients.
Is this a good stradegy?
Please help me out here if you can, especially if you have a lot of exp with Botanicare's products.
I will get pics of P-Diddy's plants tomorrow so all can see. I would take them now but he is sleeping...
Cheers
