probably overwatering a little bit. what size is that pot? it is a little different for seedlings but now that the roots are getting established, you should let the soil dry until it is still dry when you put your finger in an inch and a half or 2...then water. also go low on the nutes. probably wont need any next watering. what are your plans for lighting down the road? you could go to home depot any get a cheap "y adapter" for a bulb. not sure if thats the real name but it is a thing that screws into where the bulb goes in a lamp, and has a 2 more bulb sockets in the shape of a "Y". I think 2 points of light, even if smaller wattage is always better that 1 point. have you pruned the lower growth or did it stretchin the begnning?

Cool plant. Looks like a tiny palm tree.

I agree with past times. Looks to be overwatered and in need of more light. Best of luck.

i found an old Y socket in the garage so im now using 2 46 watt 6500k CFL's, i had to remove 2 sets of leaves on the lower growth because they yellowed and browned and looked all dried out, but it did stretch a wee bit as well in the beginning, thanks for the help i'll get this baby on track hopefully soon

just thought i'd post an update, the overwatering got fixed and now im running 4 46 watt 6500k CFL's, two up top with the Y socket, and two opposite one another on the sides of the plant, i think its lookin pretty healthy....i've also since topped the plant which seems to have worked wonderfully
