What’s ur cornbread recipe.?
This 4 dinner, yes, $12 for like 100 shrimp. I wanna make some cold shrimp salad with mayo and celery or something like that with the left overs… . Oh , also picked up a bag of frozen crawfish tails, I have no idea what I’m going to do with them yet. 26C1D657-1BF7-4B66-988C-E091DC8DA9BD.jpeg

Crawfish etouffee maybe? Its a creole rice dish with shellfish.

Or you could always make an Alfredo sauce and throw some Cajun seasoning in there, then do like a spicy crawfish Alfredo pasta.

They work in a po boy sandwich too, sautéed in butter and garlic and chili flakes.

Or you could just put a spin on any recipe that calls for shrimp by substituting crawfish instead

Those are great ideas. I picked up those ingredients and will attempt a scampi, Alfredo and a fajitas type roll . I need to go back and get a garlic press.

You been to Bozo’sim Pascagoula?
That place is like stepping back in time. At the marketplace, if you remember, you walk up to the stressed out super busy one line man cook guy and pick a number from the board. He asks you name and take a styrofoam container and writes your name a the order and gives you a number in your container. Then you need to walk up to the front of the store where the cashier wrings you up and you pay. Then you walk your styrofoam container back to the market and wait for the one line cook to turn around and get his attention so that he can place your styrofoam container in the pile of all the other orders. I waited one hour for my name to be called because I went at dinner time on a Saturday night. It’s kinda entertaining though seeing the freak show. Everyone either standing in the back watching the guy go as fast as he can filling order. Or sit and patiently wait for your name to be called. It seems like a hell of a job . They must pay him well or it’s like some sort of probation shit.
