We are still exploring…. This was over the top. Not great but edible. The shrimp def tookcenter stage delicious.
the sausage was spicy and for me, ruined everything. I did not realize the frozen crawfish was from China. Figured it be local but my naive dumb southern ignorance !!!( been here 2 months) The mixture of both Alfredo and Pesto was my husbands idea. I think that made for the color of this dish rather unappetizing. The shrimp scene is so freaking awesome , I’m hooked. Krogers has a good seafood market down there with local items. Shrimp are graded by the number per pound, 15-16 are good sized. You can always throw a brill net and catch your own in the gulf. It takes some practice though. Crawfish are sold in sacks live. My daughter could probably eat 5 pounds of them if she had the chance.
