I’m in SF, grab a co worker, head to an old dive bar haunt for a drink and I didn’t recognize the place. Gone is the owner, smoke stench and the padded bar. Unfortunately, the $5 beer and a shot are gone too. Now they serve you drinks with smoke bubbles on them. Which is fun. But not for a bar a block from the Tenderloin. I just had a Mitchers bourbon with a rock. This is some kind of tequila cocktail. $30 for two drinks.
