According to my light meter (and wallet), flat white paint outperforms mylar hands down, and leaves no trouble space between the walls and the space where things can grow and breed like pestilence and disease.
Agree, Another good point.

looking good. I don't see a problem. Looks normal for a clone. It will grow out fine.
You burning the MH? No need for the CFLs now. Kepp the MH up high for a few days and then start to lower it a bit each day.

Start out with the light about 3 feet above the plants for the first day and keep an eye on them. If they seemed to like that then lower it 6" the next day. If they look like it was a bit strong then let them get used to it for a bit longer. You should be able to get it to within a foot above the tops. It doesn’t look like you’re using a cooled hood so heat will be the limiting factor. If it feels hot on the back of your hand then it's to hot for the plants. Try to keep it under 55% humidity. Lower is better to a point.

Do yourself, your roommate, and the members here a huge favor and spend about 20 hours--literally, twenty or more hours!--searching and reading previous threads on this site and any others you like. All the info is out here and you can digest and catagorize and filter what's applicable to your situation. My two cents: ODOR CONTROL.

Good luck!

That is just fine, lower is better than higher for many reasons, all diseases and pestilence.

You will probably never see a naturally occurring humidity level that will stress your plants out. My gro goes as low as %20 on occasion.
