My work won't let me quit

So they have to have a good reason right?

IF I do NOT stay until June 30...
NO ONE at this restaurant will get their 7 day paid vacation.

So its up to you Mike. Stay and give us a vacation. Or be THAT GUY. That ruins it for everyone.

This is a big decision man! I'm looking to move to Colorado where I can legally breed marijuana, which is something I've done before and WANT to do. I keep saying that once I move I'm basically retiring because weed is fun for me, not a "job"

So guys, what do you think? The decision is entirely on me I know but I wanted to share it and see what others thought.

I don't wanna be an asshole that makes you not have a vacation for two years. I also don't wanna stay any longed than I have to. But if I stay its a little extra money. But if I go the marijuana industry is lucrative.

It'd be a really fucking cold day in hell an employer tried that shit with me. Strong arm me using other employees benefits as leverage. Idk your situation, but I would have walked right there. I also would have told all the other employees he was fucking you, and them, like that.

I've seen these strong arm tactics before, usually with minorities who either don't know their rights or are too afraid to lose a job to say anything. It sickens me, I always tried to look out for the guys I worked worth.

I don't mean to sound so harsh, but it sounds like most of people working there don't have balls if they put up with shit like that. The minute others workers benefits were used against me, I would have gave him an ultimatum. .at that point one that only benefits me. I can be very persuasive. ..

Tbh I would just say to them fuck your 1 week vacation, If you have to move just move it's you not them, they will never see you again, in these situations when you're not dealing with family, I don't think anyone else besides family really matters if I want to do something and people who aren't my family reject it, I don't care how it affects them, you shouldn't either. You should be enjoying Colorado, thinking and laughing about the fact that they're angry that you took their 1 week vacation.

If this is serious... I'd tell them whatver they wanted to hear, and then just move 4/30. Fuck them. Run your business yourself. Unless they are paying you well enough, then maybe. And by well enough I'm not talking anything less than $20/hr. Or do it your fuckin' self. Would they give you notice if they fired you? What would happen if they did? Could you say "no" and force hem to keep you around for another month or 2? I highly doubt it. So back to idea 1... Fuck them.

Also, let your fellow workers bring it up with their boss, not you. Tell them to threaten him, or they will cut off his cojones. That should work, because you know, beaners love balls with their refried beans.

Fuck that bullshit cooks are a dime a dozen they can hire someone else just fine and all take vacations. Which is it really not in a contract or law that they are allowed a vacation? Either way the place ain't going to fall apart if you leave.

But do you have a job lined up in CO? Unless of course you got money for a home or whatever. I just keep hearing how many trying to get a job in the cannabis industry in CO I'm just staying right here in my outlaw state more money whether I work alone or for a company plus a lot more competition and I don't know anyone in CO. Just too many people moving to CO for weed I'd be trying to leave CO plenty of other legal states and the newest ones are going to have more work CO will not remain the best place for weed just wait until California is legal and even still you can grow great weed in all 50 states clone only is harder to get but with all the knock off cuts is it really worth it?

And breeding ain't the best thing to do these days just look at that Sour Patch Seeds I haven't heard of most of them breeders so you are going to need to win cups pay for adds or just have some of the best but other better known breeders will steal your work. Just look at God Bud Jordan Of The Islands created it but most will probably tell you BCBD especially back when they won the cup.

But if you want CO do it up fuck your job they can find someone else to cook and worse case scenario you can ship weed back home for money.

I have several connects in Colorado, and my breeding would basically be taking these people line up and improving it in what way I could. All I am waiting on is an address with my name on it so I can grow as I can qualify for medical (stomach issues, chronic pain, broken bones...)

But they take care of me. I've worked here for only a year and I get 850 cash every two weeks, free booze. Free food, I can come fucked up if I want (but if I can't work I get sent home)
I got arrested (after an illegal search and seizure of NOT my property) while on work grounds. They paid my bail to get me back to work, I had to repay the guy, but when I went to court and told the court what happened, the manager gave me every cent of the refund (I had expected 225, he gave me 275$) so they do take care of me.

$425 a week ain't taking care of you that's scraping by couldn't feed a family on that unless they feed them too. Lol, Minimum wage in CA is $15 an hour now you can start at McDonald's and make more money let alone cook in a restaurant.
