odered the 40oz carbon from petsmart 23$x2 but uses about 120oz but the design could be scale down half the size 12" and a 6" core iside a 7" core or a 4 in a 5 you etc you get the point.

Are you buying seeds everytime?
You should try cloning this round and keep a perpetual garden going. Its not hard at all.
Im sure we can walk you thru it.
Just need a small seperate space for the clones.
Its alot easier and faster than starting from seed everytime.
Plus it gives you a chance to work out the specific wants/needs feeding/ppms of those genetics.

actualy My plan was to use the filing cabinet to put a 3 gal diy cloner in it for cutings. I germinated the seeds in there and the cfls kept it at 80f. When do you think I should get the cutings? Right before flowering? Or into flowering and then revegg while I clear the the room? I just wouldn't like the clones to get to tall ,but I guess I could do lst or supercrop to keep them short :peace:

Got bored at work last night after replacing a MH light/ballast and an Idea came to me of fixin it and making a diy mh light for my grow. so I bent some aluminum and installed the light socket and hooks on it, made a box for the ballast and came out ok, very bright so... I think I"d be replacing those cfls in about a week or so with this free mh?

this is a picture of the 1k coming on for 30min every 4hrs to help with the temp.

Thank you mela :D yeah, i am liking the CMH. there are several I follow on here that have them, danielsgb, riddleme, illumination, and a few others. They have great sprectral power distribution. i havent had a HPS, but it is said they are cooler than HPS and MH.

that DIY flange, well it is hard to find flanges for the various size PC fans, so i figured I could make one just as good. i was right.

you may need to add some mild nutes. i think your tap was 150, so shoot for a ppm of 300 total, tap water ppm and nutes ppm combined. i know they are seedlings, but there is no nutes in the rez. i dont like to foliar feed because the results are not consistent. 300 ppm total should not harm them. what nutes are you using?

Everything is looking good!! I'm doing my first DWC as well. Advanced Nutrients. I would say to try some nutes in the water since the root has broke thru the net pot. Don't overdo it tho. Mix them about 1/4-1/2 strength and see how they react to the nutes.

what schedule is your drip on? you may want to slow it a bit when you add nutes so the plant doesnt get too soaked with nute water. i am not 100%, just a thought.
